Treatment
Day 1 full dose
Day 2 - 1/2 dose
Then treat day 5.
Depending on pond loading, PP can be added
48 hours before.

I love the sock idea, as for the lernex pro, i couldnt hear what you said, full dose day one, did you say half dose end of day 2 and half dose day 4???? My koi have never reacted to the lernex, so id be very keen to keep the lernex pro level up at a therapuetic level rather then waiting a week for it all to dissolve

Rasta was wondering did you prep yr pond/koi with pp before Lernex or merely just treat for the parasite with correct treatment and can Lernex be added if pond still has salt 0.24 at mo ??? Many thanks🙏🏻 for any advice in advance

No need. I do how ever slow down the rmp on my flow friend to give the meds more time in the pond. So less of a turn over for 2 days.

Great Video Chip, can I ask what you do with your drum and shower when treating? Do you bypass them or just allow them to run as normal?
Thanks. No bypass. I do however, slow the turn over down a bit. Flow friend pump makes this easy.

Do you repeat after 14 days ? Or only if you find any flukes after the initial treatment
The key is to do another scrape after 6/7 days and check. Rules out guess work. In my experience, fish can flick and sulk after because of the effects of the treatments and not necessary flukes. Also - you may find something you hadn’t seen before. A simple mucus sample rules out many things. 🤓😀

I think they live in the shower BHM I used to get rid of flukes no problem before I installed a shower can't anymore tried everything over the past 2 years 😢
TBH I’ve only ever had showers with BHM since 2003, and never had issues getting rid of flukes! Most of the breeders farms I’ve visited, even as of last year Nov have showers stuffed with BHM and no issues either.
Have a look at the description for how I treat. Never had flukes that I didn’t totally get rid off. Honestly ☺️🙅🏾♂️ it’s the application, environment, water and stocking levels. I also have a Q’teen which means nothing new goes into my main pond without spending 6/8 weeks in Q’teen. Good luck buddy.
