I always stay at a Hotel in this neighbourhood for the past 23 years and just love it, so nice just to go for a breakfast at my hotel and then walk everywhere.

Wow, nothing changed in Gloucester road, since I was last there, back in 2008.The same KFC, Burger King, and Waitrose. The Holiday Inn too, and Queen’s Gate Gardens as well.
Everything is so cared for even back alleys unlike cities and even most small towns here in the US
Kensington is super expensive. The Mews are millions of dollars. Pretty good for former stables and coach houses. London is really clean and the tube is free of vandalism and graffiti. Great place to visit.
Well of course this is Kensington lol, a very wealthy area. You would not say the same about places like Ilford, Croydon, Barking or Dagenham
I’m sure your American cities have affluent areas as well as rundown areas, like most cities around the world.
The architecture of Kensington Gore is the most impressive I've seen in my life.

Oh, thank you! I love London, used to go weeks at a time for work and enjoyed being “in” the city among the locals. Especially enjoyed seeing your walks past the white townhomes with wrought iron gates!❤
I hate London. It is filthy, shapeless and full to bursting with traffic and colossal crowds. Come to Paris and see a truly beautiful and elegant capital city!

Omg the Builders Arms! Of course it’s the noisy spot because it is all the Americans. I went to Richmond university in the late 80’s and that was and still is a hang out spot for the students.
That campus has closed, it's now a building site!
