I miss the Quartermaine's... I love Sonny and the mafia stuff is ok, but the Quartermaine's provided a unique balance of comedy that I think the audience appreciated and loved... It's a shame they got rid of everyone.. and Rest In Peace, John Ingle....
People need to realize that many med school students/doctors take drugs because of the workload. So this what if scenario is plausible. AJ bucked under the pressure and Jason was longer under the conditions so it is not surprising if eventually he looked to other means to get the job done.
Jason and Tracey comedy gold too bad they didnt share more scenes. Hilarious when he says he can give Tracey plastic surgery and the rest of the family giggles. Like he just burned Tracey and they love it
I disagree. I think Steve Burton played Jason Quartermaine exactly as he would have been. I think the years of being in the Quartermaine mansion would have made Jason Q as tough as Jason M, in comparatively different ways of course. The fact that he's on cocaine would have made him even more jaded. I actually think that being Jason Morgan was great for Steve Burton. But the character of JQ could have involved in such a different way and I would've liked to of seen it.
I guess hes jaded from years as a q they were hard on aj snd with just their golden boy left I'm sure they told him.how great he was and expected him to be the best . If he wasnt hardened by years in dy he q house plus he adored aj whom he probably missed had survivors guilt and hes a coke head. If it was jason q hed be like this bc he in his rant to monica resents them . Jason was just a kid when hr had the accident. 20 years there without aj probably made him cold
Definitely! When Jason Q showed up he had been away at boarding school for what we can pretend was years even though there was Sorasing involved. A few years of living with his bed hopping parents, scheming grandfather, the in and out visits of his equally scheming aunt... Look what happened with Ned and Lois. Lois realized that ELQ meant more to him than marriage. Olivia is realizing the same thing. The only person to come out a "better" person in the Q mansion is probably Michael after the years of Sonny influence.
I miss Jason Quartermain, and all the Quartermaines. It's ashame that he's not going to completely change his way of life. If he were a doctor, and closer to the Quartermaines, we'd actually get to see all the Qs! I love that family! Just like mine (lol)!
Steve Burton actually played this role just like Jason Morgan instead of Jason Quartermaine. If you look at the way he greeted Monica and Alan, it's clear the smile is forced, and even Steve HIMSELF isn't buying it. That's too bad. Because just for this fantasy, he could have played the happy Jason Q.
JayTheAdviceGuy Jason Q was on Coke and forcing his life. That was the point. But I do agree that the carefree spirit of JQ could have been more prevalent.
"He got the job on his own merit." "And his last name." Well, his last name is just as much _his own_ as it was his father's, and his father's father. If no one's last name is "their own", then whose is it? Of course, a name alone shouldn't count as "merit", but it does in our society.
If you ask me, I think they should've had him revert back to the way he was before he tried to stop AJ from driving drunk because it would've made for a better story then keeping him what he is from fan service or for the sake of the story
See, I'd much rather watch Jason QUARTERMAINE overcome a drug problem than watch Jason Morgan shoot people repeatedly. I mean, if that wasn't a fantasy and was an actual storyline, just think of the powerful performances we could have had. Alan (recovering addict) would have to help his son overcome his drug problems. It could have been amazing!
he seemed like Jason Morgan to me I don't think SB could get away from it only difference he's a coke sniffing doctor and he called Monica and Alan mom and dad which he hadn't done since 95
Right before the accident Steve's acting changed a lot to what jason Morgan would be like. Maurice benard gave him some acting lessons in 95 bc steve was frustrated with his role. He really was so perfect & nice that his storylines got boring sadly. I wish that the writers came up with something better for him. In the end I hated him being a mob hitman. Maybe jason q could have in med school which is where he was at the time of the accident became a coke head or doing speed to keep up with his classes. The show needed more doctors. They did not have to keep jason q perfect. He could have become an addict who still picked up carly in a bar. I agree jason did not have to stay perfect which equals boring on a soap.
Even in Monica's fantasy, there has to be Quartermaine bickering and and a horrible ending? Come on Monica, do better. I cant stand Jason Morgan. I want JQ back!!!!
Monica mentions that she's grateful Jason wasn't in the car w/AJ so she didn't lose Jason "too." So AJ died in the accident that would have put Jason in a coma. It's pretty cold that Monica's fantasy has AJ dead in it.
"This is my house." "I gave it to you!"
Like music to my ears!

Quartermaines, Bradys, DiMeras, Buchanans, Hortons, Forresters, Newmans and Abbots are my favorite daytime families
This was great to see. Alan looks great. Nice to see Jason with the Q's.
This really makes me miss the Q's
4:37 I always loved the way Jane Elliot threw her head back and did her hoarse-Tracy laugh!

I wonder if it was difficult for Steve to switch back to the Jason Quartermaine persona? So wild
Jason and Tracey comedy gold too bad they didnt share more scenes. Hilarious when he says he can give Tracey plastic surgery and the rest of the family giggles. Like he just burned Tracey and they love it
I thought Tracy and Luke were great together! JohnIngle as Edward was a GEM! I miss the writers from the earlier years.

yes well said

Leslie looked fabulous here.
You can say that with a straight face?
@@TheloniousJackson yes 😆
They got the four most important women in his life all in one shot.

ghfan51184 I miss Jason Quartermaine
damn this was 7 years ago
Who’s here in 2021😍🥰😍
This was what it was supposed to be for Jason before he got into that accident.
This is how it should have been. Jason was loving, caring to believe he would throw his family away, it was one GH storyline impossible to believe.
I remember praying that Jason Q came back
😐
GH just kills off the best characters and leaves the worst, and repeats the same boring routines in story lines! Amazing they are still on the air!
So is he still engaged to Keisha Ward in Monica's fantasy?

I wish they had done it that way so he and Elizabeth would have been together
Lol. I enjoyed this... but I enjoyed Carly's fantasy more🤣
Why wouldn’t Jason Q be a cardiologist? Why a plastic surgeon? That’s weird.
So one son an alcoholic, and the other son a coke head. Poor Monica.
I loved Alan Q too I was surprised when G H left hum out of theil memorial should because I heard the actor that played died awhile back
@ThorneAstor Agreed! And I loved Jason's zingers at Tracy...lmao.
If you ask me, I think they should've had him revert back to the way he was before he tried to stop AJ from driving drunk because it would've made for a better story then keeping him what he is from fan service or for the sake of the story

Bruno. Mars
That's boring

Stuart was walking with difficulty
I would be happy seeing Jason a doctor. Vs a two bit thug !!!! 😂😂
Me too
Why Patrick looked so pissed off?
Why did they not bring Emily in it would of been a family reunion fantasy.
The doctors look like high school kids!
Cryin!!
The minimization of the Quartermaine’s was one reason I stopped watching.
Like many I loved Luke and Laura, but Luke and Tracy had amazing chemistry.
I think u guys meant to call this a dream
Even in Monica's fantasy, there has to be Quartermaine bickering and and a horrible ending? Come on Monica, do better. I cant stand Jason Morgan. I want JQ back!!!!
Steve burton asked for the character change in 1996 with the condition that the change be permanent! Jason Quartermaine will never be brought back!
Where’s aj
Monica mentions that she's grateful Jason wasn't in the car w/AJ so she didn't lose Jason "too." So AJ died in the accident that would have put Jason in a coma. It's pretty cold that Monica's fantasy has AJ dead in it.
Thank God this is not real
Jason Quartermaine is a WATERED-DOWN VERSION of Jason Morgan.
