+Nina Strandlod Thank you thank you, Nina!! I've got it in my shopping card I'm just bouncing back and forth between the tin (for being able to throw them both in my bag and a smaller table footprint) and the full size Centennial.
+The Truth in Story Great! I look forward to hearing what you decide. YOU made me finally order this Lenormand. =D Personally I'm very fond of the Original Rider Waite, which is also more vintage looking (it's the RWS deck Kelly-Ann Maddox uses too).
I recently went to choose my first Lenormand deck and found your channel. Another resource suggested Under The Roses, but your comments about its Snake put me off that one. Your reviews helped me find out about this deck, which I chose instead. It arrived yesterday and I'm delighted. It suits my aesthetic preferences even better, with no features you saw the need to warn me about and a very useful booklet included. Thanks for your very helpful reviews.
+The Truth in Story I really hate the art and the pip cards shown on the card are wrong. As far as my grandmother taught me, she spent her time traveling between Russia and Poland sometimes the middle east. I think they read playing card different. Plus it's more of a gypsy type deck than a lenormand deck. I don't want to split the deck it's bad luck. There is a metaphysical reason for the 36 cards. But thank you for the suggestion.
Thank you. I just bought this deck and started the read-through of the book w/cards, found your channel and subscribed. I watched a bit of your live feed today, too (12/9/18). I look forward to watch older vids and newer ones as well.
Awe I love this. I love the original rider Smith. Just got the radiant one and this lenormand would look beautiful beside it. Ty always a1 quality reviews!!
+The Truth in the Story The pixie Lenormand would be a great deck to incorporate into a Tarot card reading using the 'centennial Pixie Rider- Waite Tarot deck'. Both decks have the same 'pastel colours and matted finish look' that differentiates it in style from the ORIGINAL Rider Waite Tarot; thus, the colors, styles, and artwork are so similar, using both the pixie Lenormand and pixie Tarot in a combined reading (I think would )allow for a more illuminated reading. What does everybody think?
Oh wow! I love this deck! The cards look SO similar to the classic RWS decks! And I love how gorgeous they are! They are the perfect size for travel! I need to get this deck! 😍 thanks for sharing! Keep up the great vids!!
I'm a newbie to all things Tarot and learning so much from you - thank you :) xxxHave you considered the Oracle of the Radiant Sun? The artwork has a similar vintage feel as that of Pamela Coleman Smith - unfortunately out of print I believe but I'm sure if it was meant to be a copy would become available.
I wonder if you'd like the Vintage Wisdom Oracle to go with that. Nothing is quite like Pamela's artwork but I'll keep thinking and leave another comment if I come up with something else.
For anyone wondering, Caduceus is pronounced kah-doo-see-us and is the symbol of Hermes/Mercury who is associated with communication. There was a fish in a cup on the Page of Cups! By the way, Pixie was a nickname for Pamela Colman Smith. I love this and I will have to get the RWS and this deck as well! Is the Centennial the one that you were looking for? Also, near the end while shuffling, did you say you had “three voices” readings? That sounds amazing! Do you mind if I use that term as well in my readings?
I bought this deck as my very first Lenormand because I adore my Smith-Waite Centennial. It's my primary working deck and I love the artwork and colour tones. But I'm definitely not a Lenormand person so it's more something to enjoy looking at for now. The Centennial comes in a big collectors box too, which is what have, and comes with The Pictorial Key by Waite and some extra artwork by Pamela. Loooooove it! :D
Good Day Mam, may I ask if the size of the pixie's lenormand cards similar to the pocket rider waite (standard playing card size?) I am very interested with the lenormand card, it seems very straightforward for quick in your face reading. I might get one!
Hello :D I have trimmed my Pixie's Lenormand even smaller lol, so I can't tell you exactly, they are narrower than a standard playing card, the product dimension shows 4x2.9 but that is the tin size, my guess is they are the same size as the book which is 3.5 tall by about 2" wide. Hope that helps!
@@TheTruthinStory & Kristina -- I just came across this "Gypsy Oracle" and I think it looks like a good fit. Let me know what you think. I realize this was a few years ago, but after watching this video, I went on an oracle hunt! www.amazon.com/Gypsy-Oracle-Cards-English-Spanish/dp/0738713066/ref=sr_1_125?dchild=1&keywords=oracle+deck&qid=1590261856&s=books&sr=1-125
Symbolon deck. It reminds me of a long lost Oracle cousin to the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. It has quite a bit of astrology on the cards. It does have 78 cards like a tarot deck but it's not. It is often used with past life readings but the imagery definitely compliments the Rider-Waite-Smith
You're not alone with the fish card, I thought that before you said it. I also find the man in The Man card looks uncomfortable in the trouser department hee hee. I'm not keen on the key, I could see straight away where the elements came from but it's quite ugly - sorry to the creator.
+Kaleidoscope Tarot LOL I never noticed the man until you and Rachael mentioned it, I think in those times they wore "padding" there to give that illusion of greatness :D I agree that the key is awkward but I do like the intention behind it.
+Kaleidoscope Tarot No offense taken. The deck was made originally just as an art project for me and my friends. I never thought that 5 years later it would be out there in the world
Any luck finding a matching Oracle deck? I have the Centennial Rider Waite deck that is a perfect match for these. I am ordering the Lenormand deck this weekend and I am also interested in a matching Oracle deck.
I have such mixed feelings about this deck. I love how clear and simple some cards are but then cards like the child, the fish and the letter are enough to put me off the deck : ( my loss, overall it's so beautiful. Thank you for your review!
It is a lovely one and just nice to have with Pixie's work, I don't use it a lot but I am happy to have it! Be glad though, there are plenty of other decks out there :D LOL
@@rifangirl8793 It is the actual artwork of Pixie, but it's a pastiche of the scenes and details from different sources like the Smith-Waite Tarot deck and her illustrations in the Golden Vanity and these artwork were turned into Lenormand cards. So it isn't totally accurate to say it's not a "work of Pixie", since she drew all these images, but the deck was created by Edmund Zebrowski.
I got lucky because it also was the last one and I had lost my prior fairy pixie cards that I used during shamanic journeys but they were tarot and I was told I was a fairy spirit and should read about them
I like this one, still cant find it here in the Netherlands or Europe without the shippingcosts being twice as much as the deck itself, thanks for showing
Try visiting DuckSoupProductions on Etsy but be warned do so at your own risk! Lol. I think some of his oracle creations might gel with Pixie's art, plus now I've just seen the Rackham Oracle there and I'm having to sit on my hands to keep from impulse buying it. Great review! I don't know if I will ever get into Lenormand but I do like watching reviews of the cards.
Maybe consider buying the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set, it's a bit more expensive then tin centennial, but I think difference in card sizes would look better for you 3 voices reading. I must say the author of this deck made pretty good job. LWB is rather splendid, indeed, and I can't understand people who don't crack book spines. :D
+BartolomeJacinto I am going back and forth over the Commemorative set BUT I was liking the idea of having both in tins to throw in my bag and go, from images I've seen the tarot is still slightly bigger than the Lenormand. And I knew you would agree on spine cracking lol, but many people are horrified :D
+The Truth in Story when I heard you mention you wanted to do the guilding ivory I knew you were going to trim the boarder lol already ordered them I think more because of the book very informative
Cool! I just ordered this cute little deck. I think the booklet alone is worth the $12 I paid for the set. I don't own a RWS Tarot, guess I'll need to break down and buy that centennial edition too!! Nooooo!!!! My bank account!! LOL.
I only have them trimmed at the moment so I don't know the original size any more, product features lists 2.75 x 1.25 x 4 inches but that might mean the box itself. I would guess maybe Bridge size. So sorry!
Kelly, whenever I have a hard day, I go back to your videos. They always soothe me and get me through even the most difficult situations.
Hi Kelly. The Centennial is the exact same kind of vintage looking, so it would definitely be a perfect match. :)

so guess who purchased this deck today? me 😳😱 lol I'm a collector of decks. I don't read Lenormand yet but I just had to have them 😍.

Were these actually made by Pixie (Pamela Coleman Smith) or were they created after? Does anyone know?
These are taken from her existing illustrations and made into a deck, she did not make images for a Lenormand deck! :)
