  • There are massive warning signs that we are full speed heading into this recession. Every single week we seem to get more and more of them. The latest ones, major companies are now just refusing to pay their bills as if that is "normal" and means no trouble ahead. Give me a break...

Here in Oregon, we do need to continually raise property taxes on property owners so the governor can have a bigger pool of cash to spend on the rapidly growing population of drug addicts littering the sidewalks, streets and parks across the state -- we like to call them homeless, but really they are drug addicts and people with severe mental problems, who coincidentally don't like to work or live in a home.

When the landlord raised the rent by $800, I said the same thing: 'what if we (the renters) strike'. Although most were in agreement, no 1 wanted to risk eviction/their credit. I ended up finding a bigger spot for $400 less, so now I helping my old neighbors search for new properties as well. 👋🤓

I remember the national debt being an issue in the 80s. Our HS economics teacher said you could sit by a big pile of money and throw a dollar bill one at a time out a window and never pay it back in your entire life. Its staggering to see what it's become over my life regarding our government and spending. This is why a lot of these dinosaur politicians scare me because they've lived this way forever and won't have to deal with the consequences for long.

Hi, I watch your videos everyday , thank you, they are very informative .
I have a comment on the Dollar Stores story you covered yesterday...since they raised their prices to 1.25 savvy shoppers, are skipping the $store and go to other stores to shop due to price and size comparison. Random example .....toilet bowl cleaner 10oz non brand 1.25 vs .89 for 14oz at walmart.
I am also curious if you know about the National Realtors Association , they partnered with Fractional and they are emailing agents to offer them being part of fractional owning real estate. From what I also understood is that they are also offering them to buy their listings??? This is sooo crazy!!

-$51k is what my friend who is a mortgage loan officer here in Az had to cut off his house since it has been on the market with no buyers in 3 weeks. He had paid $53k over asking price in 2021. Sales have slowed down to a point he has to downsize. These are the times

@@MichaelBordenaro I am assuming they cannot afford the mortgage payment since he had to start working for Door Dash to make ends meet. Also not sure why but him and his wife are rushing on closing on a new build late this month. The new build they said they are going through offers to buy down the interest rate and are being given "good incentives" on closing cost. Plus they will get warranty on the whole house. Michael this doesn't make any sense to me and why a mortgage officer would make such moves vs selling and renting and waiting for house prices to go down. I really hope they don't end up with a house they can't sell and payments due on a new build simultaneously 😵‍💫

I work in a shared office space in Fort Lauderdale. It’s packed and is really cool to speak with the members from time to time. Then again, we live in Florida and the mindset of closing down stores during the pandemic was not looked kindly at. I don’t blame them. Downtown it’s always busy. Restaurants and businesses opened up asap here and was so grateful to live in Florida during the pandemic. Who know if I would have a roof over my head and a job if I had live in California during the pandemic.

I see interest rates on the government T notes going up and up. Apart from the fed rate, this will continue to drive inflation. The government needs higher yields to attract investors to finance their debt. Apart from the 4 trillion dollar deficit we will run in 2023, the financing of that debt will be ever more expensive. That’s the biggest reason to enact a balanced budget amendment
