Aravinda Desilva....this name always creats vibration in me....I am from India, Karnataka state...I grown up in watching his batting, bowling, fielding, his courage of handling the immense pressure situations, no matter who the opponent is, bowler is, how much wickets have fallen, required run rate.....no...never....he never ever bothered about these....he come to the crease, takes the charge, start hitting cricket ball all around the ground...his hook, pull, cuts, off drive.....my goodness....till today I haven't seen any one....there may be so called greatest batsman in other countries ...but they can't touch Aravinda....a true patriotic player, played for his team, his country....least worried about his personal records.....Love from my TH-cam channel name ' ' Umesha Nomad'
Aravinda was a big match player..he always delivered on the big stage..although I feel he didn't do complete justice to his talent, he always scored when it mattered..he didn't bother too much about improving his avarege by accumulating runs against weak opposition in insignificant matches..
