Very useful tip! I, like many people had lots of issues with the 'watery sound' of the FT-710 (in my case) on almost any setting of the DNR. Like magic, Yeasu DNR became useful. This should be in the manual IMHO.
That 3D waterfall is just amazing. Hope they will do a portable version as a competitor to the ICOM IC 705. Maybe you can integrate that in the livestream 😉👍😊
If you hear an echo, the DNR has removed so much noise that you are hearing the AGC tail. The AGC tail is always there but masked by noise. That’s just how great the FTdx10 DNR is. You can make it even better by using IPO, ATT, and RF Gain. 73, de N4HNH
Thanks for the video. I just bought an FTdx10 and have been experimenting with the DNR. I don't like the sound of the voices but I think there is a way to adjust that with treble/bass adjustments. Back to the manual. KJ7VUL

Reducing the RF gain can help also I think.
Helpful video.. can you touch the spike on the display to tune the radio instead of using the VFO as primary?
