Pinkamena Diane Pie traps her longtime friend Rainbow Dash in a dark version of Sugar Cube Corner, intent on teaching her a lesson in denial of friendship. But when Rainbow Dash fights back Pinkamena realizes she's the monster, not her friends!

I think the gist is:
Rainbow Dash is a boy and is Pinkie's boyfriend, but she goes Pinkamena because she thinks Rainbow is going out with Twilight. At the end when she realizes her mistake she goes Pinkie again. When she free's Rainbow Dash, he gets ahold of a knife and not hesitating, Pinkie lets him stab her in the heart, leaving her to die.
Conclusion: pretty deep
