- Part 434 - Continuing to roll my eyes. Thanks writers for throwing that one little Noah cameo scene at the end. Looking forward to the day where he can be a part of his own story again.

Whoever remembers these years of wonderful work and dedication both Van Hansis (Luke) AND Jake Silbermann (Noah) put into their roles and into representing the first gay couple on daytime TV would never fall for the crap that new head writer came up with only to throw Nuke and especially Noah under the bus. It's a shame how Jake (Noah) and Nuke were treated only to pimp the new head writer's favorite actor (Dr. Prick). I miss Luke AND NOAH!!!

i feel so sad that things end this way, it's supposed to be Luke and Noah together again, and together forever, they are the point of whole story, and the key of it..
first of all, i hate Reid, he can't even compare to noah, and to what Luke&Noah had together, to what Luke&noah get through together, to what they survived, and ther love should be eternal.. Reid screwd things up. And this is so out of line, and so unfair to Noah! :/

When Luke came out of the washroom in a towel, I think I had a minor stroke.
When he was fixing Reid's suit, I thought that if he touched his tie, I was gonna have a heart attack. (Seep Part 41).
I love Reid holding the snack food like a sheild.

Yeah, right. He has lost his sight - and Luke behaving as an imitation of Damien was actually a major cause of that - and he is devastated!
When you have been telling someone for TWO AND A HALF YEARS that you love him, then you try to understand the situation that person is going through.
And you don't try to pressure them or control everything.
Those writers, however, did anything to make Noah look bad and paint him as the one who doesn't value the relationship. Dr. Reid is terrible!!!
I find Reid really amusing, he's funny and likeable... Well he's likeable when he doesn't push down his feelings.
And I just have to say I cried when Nuke broke up especially when when they hugged and Noah said "same here"

It's just incredible Luke and other people here would blame Noah for having dinner with someone who is going through a similar situation, but they "love" to see Luke going to Dallas with Dr. Idiot and spending day and night with him.
Obviously, none of these people care to imagine what Noah has been through. And that was exactly the writers' calculation: they wanted to paint Noah as the bad guy, marginalize him and destroy NUKE.
i love this part so much.. there are so many good things to choose from
aaaww I loved these scenes!!!! when Dr. Reid said "No one smiles when I walk in the room" I was like LUKE DOES!!! and when Luke throws down the towel I said DAMN HE DID THAT ON PURPOSE!!! at the end my first thougth was IS THAT THE ONLY WAY LUKE STARTS A RELATIONSHIP!!! oh and the entire clip I was screaming WHERE'S MY KISS???!!!!

I think this is great. Having outside drama and love interests makes them more a part of the soap story, plus Luke and Reid have great chemistry.

For some reason, I felt the same way from when Luke and Noah started out. The little hints and the agony of creaming "JUST KISSED" at my screen hahahahaha
I hadn't felt like that in a long time. Not forgetting when Luke and Noah finally had sex Jan 09 I jumped on my couch hahahaha.

My life has once again been reawakened by the awesomeness of LuRe!! Thanks LukeVanFan!! I know Reid and Luke aren't your cup of tea, but I thank you for sharing your videos as fast as you do! Don't worry, we Nuke fans still are rooting them two to get back together, but this storyline is too good to pass up!

I just wanted to say how weird it is that I just love Dr. Oliver=D And the chemistry between him and Luke, priceless!=) I love Noah but Dr. Oliver is just so badass and brings some flare to the story...I just love it!=D lol

Now we can comment I just wanna say that Reid had a different view and attitude to Luke when he said that Noah was right to break up with him. But since now he's totally falling in love with him, he can't see why anyone wouldn't want to be with Luke.
I've said it and I'll say it again, I love Dr Reid Oliver and he and Luke have sooo much chemistry it's unreal :D :D

loved this! luke's voice when he said "i do care." amazing. and van without a shirt, yes! this totally made my day. the mantra: don't be an ass lol! love all of this. even the luke and noah convo didn't make me sad like it usually does, noah was right. that is like luke. sure, it's not 100% just for noah anymore but that is still a big reason and the way noah said it...it was like...that's why i love you...which is making me even more torn between nuke and ruke. anyway great episode!
...And then to have the episode end with Reid of all people taking the moral high ground (even though he STILL feels no guilt about what he has been doing to his own patient), it's a joke. Make Luke and Noah act like Luke and Noah again. And while you're at it, get Reid the hell off my TV screen."

Noah had his chance with Luke and he blew it. He pushed Luke away when he needed him the most. I love Dr Oliver. He is totally hot and I think the chemistry between him and Luke is much better.
Luke always knows how to get'em "in a towel" and "fixing his tie" not original but it works.

The writers are really teasing us by using some of the popular moments from the early Nuke scenes. The first kiss between Luke & Noah was ground-breaking but im sure Reid & Luke's first kiss will be legendary to daytime soaps! I cant wait for more!!

Thank you LukeVanFan, just caught up from 425-434 writers have warmed the tin doctor's heart, they were being put together since he and Luke met. Steer them apart, employ new writers for Luke & Noah spin off. Luke you are a tart. One person always smiles when Dr R O walks in a room. Lukie. Poor Noah having a good laugh with Richard and being faithfull. Mr Snyder. Drop the seduction and get back home to get ready for your spin off. Okay I have to say that before, I was more an admirer of Noah/Jake but these last episodes with Van/Luke all flirty and smiling to Doctor R makes me literally melt. I need more, I want more (and more shirtless please!)
I like how Oliver dismisses everyone, but repeats to Noah what Luke said about how people will die if he isn't allowed to practice medicine.
Parallels to the Branson trip in Nuke's early days come to mind after watching this. Need more Ruke!

The minute Noah's head hit the concrete this show became a relentless angst fest with no let up. When the Reid character answers the phone, the show is now over.

For a second there I thought the writers were gonna have Luke fix Reid's tie. THEN I would have flipped my shit. The whole tie thing is how Nuke really took off and it would have killed me to see it happen with Reid too. I really miss my boys together :( Hopefully this will be a quick fling and then Noah and Luke will be together again.
Who opens the door to their hotel room like that when they are expecting room servce?

And maybe I will not be popular, but I wish this 2 to be together, because for first time Luke could feel that somebody accepts that he makes mistakes and loves him with all circumstances.
i just hope that luke and noah will be together after all those hard build relationship, i watch some other british german and spanish soap operas as you may know them but once the particular character split up most people just lost their interest in the soap, unless ATWT ready for that anyway its been great story , i watch ATWT since Luke's come out , its very long but its worth it

You all have to watch 436 to see how Dr. Idiot slams Noah and puts all the blame on him.
That was the writers' strategy in order to destroy Luke's and Noah' wonderful love story of three years by distorting all the facts and what they'd been through together.
As if Noah losing his sight - in the eyes of someone (Luke!) who had been claiming for 3 years to love Noah - was only a minor matter.
It's so disgusting, no wonder the ratings went down lower and lower.
P.S i love the fact that he hands the phone over to Luke. Its like he is trying to rub it in Noah's face that Luke is with him and not in town!!

Luke and Noah phone conversation was a little weird (maybe because both were taking by surprise), but this week's Noah seemed a lot less cold than last week's one
This is the first really interesting storyline for Luke and Noah in years. But they need to show more of Noah, because to make a real triangle they need to show all the parts

The scenes between Luke and Reid were so sweet. Meanwhile, Noah is still just a prop.
i am really appreciating this potential triangle. Eric Sheffer Stevens keeps me riveted to the screen. This is a much better storyline than repeated visits of Col.Mayer and the poorly executed Ameera storyline.
Reid is so hot and honest. I love this Lure story, but I must say, after being attached to this show for years, I must say, I'm still a dedicated Nuke fan! :) But this story is a nice "bump" un Nuke's way back together... :)
Everything that's happening is only because David Kreizman, the new co-head writer who came in after killing Guiding Light in 2009, wanted to kick Jake (Noah) out and pimp his friend Dr. Superman by throwing Nuke and their yearslong history under the bus.
He gave Dr. Superman the "funniest", "coolest" lines, while painting Noah as the bad, annoying guy. And where the hell is that idiot only remotely as hot as Noah? Whoever watched the three years of Nuke knows what chemistry is. This is NOT!
