I think it’s the opposite honestly. Being able to get high kills in Grands proves you have amazing fighting skills because you’re taking out players of the top caliber as well. Where as Deyy doesn’t really get kills like that in grands because he is as SMART of a fighter as mero is. He just gets high kills in mid-low skill level lobbies cause he is good mechanically at the game. Anyone can do what Deyy does but not everyone fights like Mero

Bugha is great(the Goat), but since c2s8, he's had storm surge issues in fncs which his trio still overcame, mostly cuz of guys like mero finding the necessary damage and kills. He's much more of a grands player than deyy. He and Clix also played well though, good to see him back on the leaderboard too
