Half-Life 2 Cheaple Description

i made a video about the cheaple in half-life 2
as i could not find a video about him so here is my take on it.

The original face of Cheaple is a man named Warren Slough who died in 2006. Gabe Newell can be seen saying "Rest in peace Warren".

the reason why cheaple is so low poly is because he usually appears in scenes from far away, so from a distance he looks better.

its sooo old tho, it also has a watermark but i guess it does have some good information

The left model is distored weirdly. 0:44 Odd.
Also i think the reason they are ragdolls is because they arent actually npcs and are models that look like npcs

that is the because its the cheaple one, i am talking about it in that section if you read the text,
and yes they are models as well as npcs from what i know

@@mrmalos4194 but the cheaple model is awfully distorted compared to the right on and the right one is too low quality to be the normal model.
And it's because they can't be spawned with stuff like Garry's mod as NPCs, only a ragdoll.

@@mrmalos4194 i just remembered that i saved the models from the hl2 scene as dupes and yes they act like normal citizens except dont move without explosions or anything

because the idea was that a model withless to render would make fps higher but the idea doesnt work since the model is literally used in maps with high quality models so thats why it was only used in hl2
