Pick-and-Build has been essential for army building on a budget. I deferred purchasing knigts off of Bricklink before they went out of my price range, so I've leveraged PAB to stash away Lions, Falcons, and Forest Men. I'm hopeful Lego continues to add factions to PAB to enable me to create a land of many independent kingdoms.
Absolute Grande army. No other Lego army I have seen would be able to withstand a cavalry charge by those elite knights. What part do you use to connect the harpoon to the lances on all the knights? Makes them look so menacing.
You could get more shields by taking them away from the foot knights. Knights would often not have shields, as their armour acted as a full body shield. (Of course that is area/time dependent)
Honestly Fright Knights barding was always one of my favorites-looks authentic and flexible between factions. I don't have it, just have the Royal and Dragon ones from my childhood, but did get a couple horse head armors in recent bulk lots so next time I build castle that'll be fun to have!
@@malistair7476 the flag on your prof is that of organisation X which collabarated and helped the nazis during ww2 after the war they murdered and tortured anyone who wanted democracy and was against the king in greece
This is an amazing selection of Lion Knight mini-figs, but aren't they all part of the same army? Do you have a faction they would be in conflict with?
Idk ho much you value looks over accuracy (and I understand both are important in army building) but your mounted knights all have footman shields ;) Edit: Ok not all, but majority
If speaking historically accurate probably longer kite shields that would cover the legs also...altho those were popularized and associated with the normans...maybe in the earlier medieval period smaller shields on mounted knights could have been accurate...
hello my friend i just order some legos (custom minifigures a dnd mini figs and parts for the character of the black hawk knights) also the dnd figures are for my sister in law and i am very happy to get them though

They also have the viking and wolfpack (almost nonstop soldout and no shields sadly)
That’s an impressive evil army you’ve got there.
What are you talking about?
@@SockieTheSockPuppet Lion Knights, in all their incarnations, are evil

That's quite the collection you got there.
Quite an impressive army, but I do think they need a castle to defend 🏰⚔️ Hope to see one sometime in the future!

WOW! Look at ALL those Knights! 💕
Well done!

That’s quite an impressive army Mr CastleBro! Love the cavalry!
02:30 don't bother buying extra shields. Pikemen didn't carry them. A pike is a two-handed weapon 👍

HI. I take this opportunity to thank you for your tutorial on the Lego war elephant that you posted years ago, it was very useful to me! Thank you
this is awesome Ser Mark of Falworth! wish lego would revive castle
How many minifigs do you plan to have in all in this army?
Heavy cavalry won a lot of battles. But a solid core of infantry, particularly spear men, won wars.
Fascist
This is the flag of the fascist monsters of the old greek monarchy who commited hundreds of crimes against the greek people

These look so cool. For your big project, you should make the Lego Crusades as the Lion knights are Crusaders
incredible

Nice army, but i really would love to see... make an army with all the extra stuff an army need... They need food, water, camps,...
