Definitely my favorite BBS game of all time. I'd say my top 3: 1. Usurper 2. Legend of the Red Dragon 3. Food Fight Then again, the only other game I really remember is Barren Realms Elite.
I remember seeing this game on other BBSes, I don't recall if I ever had it on mine though. I certainly didn't play it very much. That Convolution BBS though, it's cool that there's still some around. I'm thinking about making videos about Land of Devastation and Dr. Dread myself.
I see this was published a few years ago but this game was a huge part of my time during high school from 98 to 02. Where can I find this game??!?!? I looked several times over the years but I can never find it. Please any help?!?
Search for a telnet program and then search for online BBS. There are people out there still running systems where you can play!! You can also get and run locally through DOSBOX. It has been so long though that I forget how to do that.
I remeber playing as a sage I think it was. you got this one spell at an early level that made low intelligence things run away. I would use it on this super high lvl barbarian guy and win the fight. lol
I loved this title, and in my not so humble opinion was my area's best Usurper player. I knew how to legitimately build my character, and could hold my own even against those with hacked stats. (Nowadays developing uber characters in games doesn't interest me.) Fun times!
This was my favorite bbs games too, I was young in 93 playing this, but i did anyway!
