Wow, that's an oldie there. My 10 years of Projection was spent operating FP-30D's. Complete with Electronic Framing, Aperture & Lens change over(we ran Flat and CinemaScope 2.35:1). Also had the Reverse-Scan Sound Device Analog and optional DOLBY Digital in the Sound house.
A chain I worked for in the US had a fleet of PK60's. They were a nice machine, although they didn't hold up that well running 4-5 shows a day. I wasn't real impressed with the wide use of plastic parts either. Framing couplers would wear out and produce bouncy pictures, which then had to be changed by draining the intermittent. I think they would be a nice machine for low use environments, like museums or places that only run film occasionally.
Used to be a Philips FP20 but unfortunatly Philips doesn't produce filmprojectors anymore. The DP70 from Philips (Norelco AA2) is the only projector in the world that recieved an Oscar.
Alguns desses projetores trabalham com ventiladores nas lampadas para não queimarem as fitas. Porem a imagem projetada é bem viva e nítida. Isto é; uma excelente imagem.
You need mounted a MD filter to regulate the Kelvin grade temperature of tungsten lamp to better look vision of the color of 35mm print movie , right ?
Did you create everything that make this projector run from scratch? I am interested rebuilding 35mm prints again for my own sake cause movie theater experience isn't the same with out actual prints!

Kinoton are excellent 35mm projectors, one of the best. We had one at the cinema and it held a rock steady image.
That's awesome! If only my house had a larger space for stuff like this. :(
Beautiful machine! I'm currently looking for a 35mm projector in good condition or even to restore, thanks for sharing! 😊
Eddie, a name from my past!! Nice job. I bet there are lots of 35mm stuff available on the market these days. Not been to a cinema in 10 years.
Hey, my favourite ex boss :-) Send me an email Mike to enquiries@esphotographics.com and I'll get back to you. Will be really nice to catch up.
Well it IS the DP70's little cousin, and THAT was the only projector ever to win an Academy Award!
WTF, and you own one of those - fully working - BEST ! *****

Хорошая переделка. А передача цепная? Не ремённая?

Never heard the phrase "in rack". We used the phrase "in frame".
