Vilppu's and my method's go together very well. I learned a lot from him. But even if they weren't you should still learn from as many sources as possible. I don't think more information in this case will hurt you as long as you're practicing the concepts.
@@solemaniharami3963 100% agree with this. If you know how to draw a box, you know how to draw a figure inside it ; this is number 1 key to do mannequization. Also, there's a lot of mannequins that you can choose. The easiest to draw in perspective IMO is the ones that Krenz Cushart (the one that he teaches at his Gumroad) and Kim Jung Gi use. Because they are based on boxes and cilinders, so you can have better a grasp on perspective and keep the figure somewhat organic.
I drew alongside the video and holy crap is this hard to do. You'd think that drawing shapes for the body would be easier...but simplifying like this is super tough. I'm gonna keep practicing, thanks for this, your explanations are always easy to understand.

I love this and waited so long to finally achieve this step because when I was little I would always base my drawing on the contours and so my perspective/dynamic/foreshortened attempts to make a drawing failed horribly. Naturally, I enjoy all of your videos, and I really do enjoy how you break down various methods and/or techniques. I share these episodes with my 7 year old son, and he digs it. He draws a lot, and sometimes takes some of the concepts taught throughout these videos, and applies it towards his own work.

This helps me with my robobean sketches. I was having a hard time finding the top plane for the rib cage masses. Shoulders can show a hint of which way the top plane is facing. Also useful input for how to look past the details, and connect the volumes. My robobeans need more work, but I'm glad I looked ahead at this video.
