feeling sorry hear about your Mom. marina My mothet also died bcoz of Thyroid cancer. I have 4 kids but daily visited to my mom and unn ko khana khilna bath karwana unn ko saf karna and my husband is very gentle man unho ny mujhy kabhi nahi roka... Maa is blessing..she is no more with me but in my heart she stay for a life

I love both these ladies, they r so adorable, sameenaji in zindagi gulzar hai and marinaji in jackson heights. I am so impressed by marinaji that I have decided not to color my hair when they turn grey, I never wanted but now I have a reason. Such lovely ladies, god bless them.

It didn't feel like an interview. It felt like these two ladies were sitting in my lounge and having a regular chit-chat. And Marina Khan-what a jolly person!
She is still same, i just adore her and love her. I am sad that she didn't have kids but i am sure if she would be having kids her daughters would be exactly like her and we would be able to see other Marina in new dramas. Anyways love her personality.
Born and raised abroad, i was and still am amazed when Ami tells us about the golden haseen time of Pakistan the 80s and early 90s. Were people would sit silently, all together to watch dramas like Tanhaayan aur dhoop kinarey.. A time we can witness through those drama serials.

Mother and daughter Ka relation hi yaisa hota hai. Iam 40 but my mother still treat me like teenager. I think it happens because of generation gap. Marina ji is something like me. I enjoyed her talk.sabki apni way of living hoti hai thoughts hote hai. I like her she expressed herself so sincerely.
LOVE the girls on screen today- for more than 3 decades now! Can't thank the inventors/ designers of TH-cam enough to give us the good fortune to reconnect after so many years! Marina is every bit Saniya and Zoya- the cutie pie, younger sister kinda girl.
And Samina! Gawd! She's the mom/ aunt/ nani figure that anyone can relate to. 💝💝 to both of you!
Kuchoo is a forgetful guy from our grade 1 English readers ( Wonder if they still have that character today!). He would be constantly looking for specs that would always be perched on his head. So whenever someone is in that situation, we call them Kuchoo. I get called that enough for evident reasons🤪

SPLENDID! This really made my day. It's such an eye-opener for all of us who perceived her as jolly and fun loving icon of Pakistan. But there's much more about her and how she handled the departure moments of her Parents. My favourite part was the wedding sequence and faith in her husband. His support, love and the trust given to Marina Khan is to be celebrated and cherished. We all have been hearing about how insecure and egoistic a man becomes when he sees his wife rising. But this man proved to be superior, secure and showed what unconditional love really means! A man and woman aren't supposed to necessarily represent themselves as parents was such a needful conversation. Rarely we find such conversations while showing the absence of an offspring. Thank you Rewind for how amazing you are! ♥️

One of the most beautiful feelings of the world is being a parent.
But so many can not have it due to many reasons. May be she is a voice for many who can't have kids. There is always much more voice who jave kids. But no voice who can not. Always people get into sad mode and feel sorry for you. But seeing marina talk about not been parent in such kalm manner was a fresh breath of air.
I think she said all those things bcoz she knows she couldn't have.... Children are the blessing of God so is parenthood....

Love the interview, and I totally agree with Marina that it is not necessary for a married couple to have kids. I decided to have one after 8 years of my marriage when I was confident that I can give my child a better life and time.
Ohh my God.....same story that i can relate too...i was lucky to be with my father for whole 3 years while he was fighting with cancer and because i dont have child i can be more available for him 24/7 and my other siblings cant......

It was a treat watching this interview. Samina, you are so gentle, & graceful. I love your demeanor and way of talking. This is one of my favorite shows because you are the host. Ive been a big fan of Marina's work. It was great to get an insight into her life and know her as a person. I could relate to her at so many points. She is graceful, composed, humble, straightforward, and so very natural. Ma shaa Allah! No banawat at all, despite the fame. I just watched her drama serial Bandish.
