The plucky Korean pair of Kim and Kong showed awesome prowess and great fighting spirit in coming from one game down to beat top seeds Fukushima and Hirota just as they did in the quarter-final match in coming from one game down to beat the world no. 1 pair Matsumoto and Nagahara. Kim is an ideal partner for Kong because she is always communicating with and encouraging her. They should be able to subdue Matsumoto and Takahashi in the final as the Japanese had beaten two young Chinese by the narrowest of margins.

If Japan dont start to hit the shuttle and lead with there wrist and let the arm come in by its self and take a shorter back swing, people will be calling the Koreans and chinese the killers. There practice habbits are better and they practice the important stuff. Japanese dont hit with there wrist from the subconcious mind. They have to think about it. The Koreans and the Chinese do. The Japanese have to think about to do it because of there practice habits. If they dont work on hitting using there wrist as the trigger like the chinese and the Koreans have been doing they will go back to the days of getting there butts kicked when all they did was pride them selves on playing weak high shots and playing long rallies. You either keep up with the rest of the world or get left behind. The Japanese coaches should make the players keep hitting with there wrist till they can hit the shuttle without having there wrist being late. the one that does it the best in japan right now for the women is Matsuyama Nami. And if Shida can learn to do the same they will climb right up the rankings. And far as women singles go Aya Ohori is the one who is working on her game and doing things right. If she keeps working and playing like she did in this tourney she will go right passes Yamaguchi and Okuhara. And Watanabe and Endo for mens doubles.looks really good Watanabe finally started using his god given talents instead of being Mr Drop shot.and smash and weak everywhere else. And Hoki and kobayashi would be really good if they played there pressure points strong instead of playing safe. In mens singles Momota is the best athlete but the one who really hits it right is Sakai but he does not use his head that is the only reason he is not number 2 in Japans mens singles behind Momota.Japanese coaches need to start stressing the right things or they will start to fall and be like they were in years past when only a super talent coming along will be doing good.. This was not the Korean pair playing over there heads this is the Koreans working hard on the right things and they are at this point better then the Japanese.
I got curious about T-shirts Fuku/Hiro were wearing. It says "Samurai Japan Reptiles". I googled it and it is a name of a pet shop specializing in lizards/snakes. They sell frozen mice/rats too. Yeek.

Japan system. They have their own club ,and the club is sponsored by company. In fuku hiro club. It is samurai blabla
@@FF-bu9zv I know the system. They switched from Saishunkan to Tricky Panders last year. Obviously Samurai Japan is their sponsor otherwise they don't wear it but I was surprised by the choice because clubs are typically sponsered by well known large corporations. It could be just one off for this tournament.
They said they belong to something else in yesterday's Sudirman Cup press conference. I couldn't quite catch the name (American something..)
Okuhara also said she belongs to some company, she left Unisys and became independent but now seems to be sponsered by this company.
Okay, Tricky Panders appears to have renamed themselves to "American Vape" and they wear that "Samurai Japan Reptiles" T-shirts. Mystery solved.
And "Vape" came from vapor which is aerosol inhaling product such as e-cigarette. Quite unhealthy (?) for a badminton team.. but a good match with reptiles..? LOL
