Blown zero ohm resistor was replaced with a good one. Good job. Not being critical, but could have soldered the new one on top of the old one, bridging the blown resistor.

One of my router stopped working suddenly and charger is burned .. i tried with another charger but its sparking while plugging charger on charging port it sparks little light

The modem itself has no lights and seems to be competenly dead, what could it be? But there's one light in the back that lights up when I plug the cord in????
Hi, I know this is way too late but I recently lost THREE routers in a 2mo span due to thunder. My routers have all been plugged into surge protectors where nothing else blew on the surge protector. I witnessed during the last thunderstorm that it was actually the internet cable, not the power cable, that was causing the router to practically explode. There are surge protectors for this specifically, but they do slow down the service drastically. Instead of dealing with that, I now just unplug my router from wall and internet until the storm passes.
trying to fix my d-link DIR-655. i found 2 caps bulging...replaced them...but no power to board..wish i had service manual or schematic of some kind but not luck online..Do you know of any videos to work on this board? tks
Deno brute force tests all capacitors and then all switches and then all resistors until he finds the problem. Does this without uninstalling anything. Don't need a schematic.

Hi . if your modem does not show any light when you plug it in ,, first check the charger if it works , if it works then you can open it and check the main fuse , if the fuse isn't burned , check for any shortet capacitor

I think the wifi circuits burn out after sometime, I had the same issue so I just connected a wireless router.

Bhai 12 volt ki battery connect ki thi.. polarity (+wala - mai oor -wala + mai laga diya).. shayad short circuit hova.. koi solution

So the solution is to just remove the fuse.
