Sometimes i want my dad to watch sky castle, just to understand how much pressure children have to go through because of the fear that their grades are dropping. I know that he only wants the best for me but honestly i’m tired of studying for hours and when i get home my dad is disappointed in me. He tells me to get better instead of saying good job my daughter. But what can i do against it? Nothing sadly. I know that he will never see this comment. But thank you dad! I had to go through many hardships because of you but in the end i love you so much because you’re my precious dad! And i will try my best to keep you,mom and my brother happy even if i’m sad!
I hope you learn to live for yourself tho :) There's nothing wrong with making others happy, but it shouldn't be at the expense of our own mental health and/ spirituality. It's best to find the courage to speak up, and try to balance work & rest.
look at the bright side. what you will achieved later is good for you and indirectly good for your family. we never know what they go through before. as long as your dad still wanted you to study, do your best. some children will die to study, you know since they dont have the chance due to their situation. One day when you are a parent, you will understand. If you still dont understand his situation, well until then you might blame him for the rest of your life. Goodluck...!
Same that's what i feel after watching the drama. I hope that i can make my parents watch this but I realize we can't control them. They just do what they thought to be the best for us. The one who is fully responsible for our life is also ourselves. I used to be a grade conscious student. Yes, I cheated to get a high score (I tell to myself it's okay because most of the students cheat because we are in a science high school, a school where you will be kicked if you have a grade below 85). But this year, I decided not to be swayed by the situation. No matter what the score i got, i accepted it wholeheartedly because i knew i gave my best. My grades were no longer as high as it used to be (but i am still on top in our class) and my parents were disappointed to me for not studying hard. I was always depressed everytime the cards were released. But the thing i realized, you don't need someone to appreciate you for giving your best. You don't need assurance by others. You must be the one to be the first to appreciate yourself. If your parents say good job, then gladly take it and keep it in your heart but if your parents said not something nice, take it as an advice. Don't let it stay in your heart coz overtime it will grow and dominate as hatred towards the. Just always ask yourself, does the result of your action make you happy?
Penthouse, the world of married couple, law school.. Among many excellent dramas, Sky Castle is still the best in my heart. Even the OST never fails to give me chills.

I'm just done watching all the episodes, I cried, laughed and learnt. You should watch Kdrama such as Extracurricular, My Mister, Mr Sunshine, Healer, Goblin, Signal, Reply 1988, Misaeng, Stranger, Move to heaven. These are masterpieces.
My parents are expecting at 4.0 GPA by semester. I'm expecting to hopefully still be mentally stable. Not in Korean society but can some what relate to the drama.

When the song and drama really screams truth about life, especially to those students who are getting pressured by parents. We literally all lie and are playing with a mask to hide the truth
What I like about Sky Castle is that it shows and describes the many hardships and different relationships between parents and children and what makes it so special is that it also shows the consequences and describes different behavior towards different scenarios. I think that Sky Castle also teaches you that studies aren't always important but sometimes being yourself is the most important thing. As for parents, I think that this series will give them a better understanding of studies and the way that children work. We aren't robots so we can't do everything in one go.. I really admire this series and it's really inspiring 🥰🥰🥰
the only thing i could say was Sky Castle set the standard. The cinematography, storytelling and the acting are so well done and the iconic we all lie ost made the scenes so much better. A masterpiece indeed.
Almost two years have passed since I’ve watched Sky Castle, and this story, this song still haunts me in a way. It was beautifully written and produced, probably the first time a TV series still haunts me after years, probably because it’s so close to what really happens in our world, but also because this end leaves us incomplete, like we were left on a cliffhanger...
Why do so many people dislike Hye na's role ?? Actually, she was one of the best written character. Her reaction to the situation she was in totally made sense. There's a reason why she was so desperate in the series. Tbh, if anybody was in her shoe irl(especially that young), only 16/17 years old and losing their mother, they'd behave like that too. She has been through lot of unfortunate circumstances even though it was no fault of her own. People who have faced such things want nothing more than a little love, just like she wanted her dad's love in this series. If ye-seo's mom's actions are justified as love for her kid, then the kid's action can be justified as longing for love and acceptance from the only person left in this world for her, her father.

This drama was so good, watched this year (2021) since I wasn’t initially interested, but at the end I couldn’t resist because Kim Hye Yoon was in it. Before starting it I already knew most of the drama from binge watching it on TH-cam except for the ending. So I was completely blown away when I found myself really liking it (I’m pretty picky with dramas, it was too be good for me to keep watching it) 👏🏻👏🏻

Nah, world of the married is on a league of its own. Absolute masterpiece. It doesn’t take away from the fact that Sky castle is a solid drama as well. You just can’t compare both.
Skye castle is amazing I loved watching it and I love how they show the harsh reality that kids these days face when it comes to education and how their parents influence their behaviour
Among the characters in Sky Castle, I feel most sorry for Hye Na. She deserved to be recognized by her own father at least before she died. But he only realized who she was when it was too late 😢😢😢
She shouldn't have had gone to sky castle in the first place. Her greed came before her love. Even though it was heartbreaking, her death was the reason they all changed in the end
i dont feel very sympathetic to her but i am extremely grateful for her. if she hadnt died the story wouldnt have gotted anywhere so in a way her greed was also a good thing? even so, she definitely was a bitch a lot of the times lmao. i cant understan why she behaved frisky with yeseo but why with se-ri?? i mean she did absolutely nothing 😭 her hate for rich people was stronger than her love for her parents and thats what got her killed. very relatable tho.

I remember watching the first episode of Sky Castle and I got mindblown with this song playing at the background
Almost two years have passed since I’ve watched Sky Castle, and this story, this song still haunts me in a way.
It was beautifully written and produced, probably the first time a TV series still haunts me after years, probably because it’s so close to what really happens in our world, but also because this end leaves us incomplete, like we were left on a cliffhanger...
Why do so many people dislike Hye na's role ??
Actually, she was one of the best written character. Her reaction to the situation she was in totally made sense. There's a reason why she was so desperate in the series. Tbh, if anybody was in her shoe irl(especially that young), only 16/17 years old and losing their mother, they'd behave like that too.
She has been through lot of unfortunate circumstances even though it was no fault of her own. People who have faced such things want nothing more than a little love, just like she wanted her dad's love in this series.
If ye-seo's mom's actions are justified as love for her kid, then the kid's action can be justified as longing for love and acceptance from the only person left in this world for her, her father.
I remembered these words right away when i listened to this song wow it has never sticked to my head like it did with this one.This really shows how easy and great song this is. Love it❤️
No matter how much they try , there won't be another drama like Sky Castle .
If favoritism isn't included, this is prolly the best kdrama I've ever watched. If you watched its special ep, you can see why this drama is a craft they've worked so hard for.
Watch it guys, it will leave you wondering if you are really, living your life correctly.

Their children is not a tool but a human being who want to walk in the way of life of what they want not what the deserve by parents . Honestly I feel like this kdrama not only a drama but changes many mindset of parents and children . I hope every parent understand their children 🙏

sky castel is one of my favourite kdrama till now. i know most of you think that drama with romance is really interesting, but i think this drama is the best so far, the storyline is so relate with our life and for every parents that read this comment please stop pressuring your child... this world is too cruel and u cant measure it with our math score or science... and for every child that read this, be strong!! we almost there!! everything is going to be ok

Everytime this songs played, my SkyCastle heart is shouting. What a perfect OST for the Drama. It really shows the overall context of SkyCastle. I always got Goosebumps everytime I heard this. Props to SkyCastle team and the OST.

I was amazed when I first heard the voice and lyrics of this song, it's very actual in life, a song that really gives peace when I'm nervous about facing life, that everything isn't always there.
When this played during Kin Hye Na's death, and when it's rhythm became slow, I literally couldn't stop crying.

No it’s not the only one, there’s penthouse a must watch! But even in older kdramas they would often showcase this, maybe not as much as in SK or penthouse but they do.. but I agree that this drama was epic 🤩

This drama was so good, watched this year (2021) since I wasn’t initially interested, but at the end I couldn’t resist because Kim Hye Yoon was in it. Before starting it I already knew most of the drama from binge watching it on TH-cam except for the ending. So I was completely blown away when I found myself really liking it (I’m pretty picky with dramas, it was too be good for me to keep watching it) 👏🏻👏🏻

Nah, world of the married is on a league of its own. Absolute masterpiece. It doesn’t take away from the fact that Sky castle is a solid drama as well. You just can’t compare both.

Among the characters in Sky Castle, I feel most sorry for Hye Na. She deserved to be recognized by her own father at least before she died. But he only realized who she was when it was too late 😢😢😢

She shouldn't have had gone to sky castle in the first place. Her greed came before her love. Even though it was heartbreaking, her death was the reason they all changed in the end
i dont feel very sympathetic to her but i am extremely grateful for her. if she hadnt died the story wouldnt have gotted anywhere so in a way her greed was also a good thing? even so, she definitely was a bitch a lot of the times lmao. i cant understan why she behaved frisky with yeseo but why with se-ri?? i mean she did absolutely nothing 😭 her hate for rich people was stronger than her love for her parents and thats what got her killed. very relatable tho.
Reshma Shah I agreed with you! Her character wasn’t 100% perfectly nice (though I understand where she was coming from) like Min Seol Ah from the Penthouse.
