@@aryehapac7572 Right? We already heard her sang those two songs and she slayed both. But as long as she never perform TGTBAW, it's still the hardest debut song in my book.
All In Your Mind had the highest vocal range (D3-G5-F7), while Vanishing had multiple F#5s. This song, on the other hand, required constant belting. Her vocal runs in this song were also very complex. I think all of her songs from her debut and sophomore albums were very challenging to sing, because she was in her "i have to prove myself" era. You're So Cold and Emotions are just as vocally challenging, if not more than TGTBAW.
Exactly. I've been listening to her for 6 years now that I've come so used to hear her belting high chest notes, sometimes I don't even realize that some of them are Eb5/E5/F5/F#5 already lol. Not until I watch vocal showcase. It's so easy for her especially during her Daydream era.
But this is in the recording studio though, have she ever sing this song completely live like this in original key?the only way to know mariah's voice type is by watching her live performances right?because that's the only way you will know her true voice and most importantly her TESSITURA...most people can do crazy thing in studio recording but only live performances will reveal their true capabilities.
You can clearly hear a lot of head resonance, but it doesnt sound too heady cuz it has some chest too, so thats balanced mix. Not too chesty, not too heady.
@@gabriraph in the truth, the highest note that I have ever seen in chesty mix was a B♭5 th-cam.com/video/JTEQ7HkANOE/w-d-xo.html 0:09-0:12 i know is very difficult hit notes above E5/F5 with chesty mix i think the mariah carey is capable of hit a G5/G♯5 in chesty mix
That whistle at the end was one of her best seventh octave whistles of her career
Give thanks to her sound engineers for making any notes possible
@@ulradeja5380Oh. Sure, everything she does is due to sound engineers. Get an argument 🗿
The greatest vocalist of all time
Don't forget about Whitney Houston.
Finally someone did this because ive been trying to figure out the notes
This song is amazing! ❤️
She eats high notes for breakfast
Her D5 is so freee 😭
I will preach til I die, this song is the hardest out of her debut and not All In Your Mind or Vanishing like most lambs say
i agree, maybe that's the reason she never sang it live

Definitely not aiym

@@whitepaper5241 you’re so cold Is just a bit more challenging
If someone thinks Mariah wasn’t a high soprano send them this video. She’s speaking E5’s like she isn’t even trying in the least.

I know it sounds like the ease of a c5 haha
But also her technique played a big role too

She always had a very girly soprano voice in the early years even live. Plenty of performances where she belts f#5’s back to back to back with ease.
I listen the C7 D7 of my new headphone and was incredible, powerfull and resonant and that G#5 oh my God
01:32 isso foi tão brilhante e potente.
Thank you very much for the showcase
Thanks for watching!!❤️❤️
The fact that she can do RUNS in the whistle register just shows how much control she has over the whistle register.
Wow
Late but, 2:00 is a F5 right? Not a F4. Sorey for the bad english
No te preocupes, hablo español, y si, tienes razón, debí confundirme entre tantas notas, es un F5* jajsjajs
@@aryehapac7572 ahhh okis, no te preocupes, gracias por responder
Obrigado pelo Showcase. Poderia fazer o de all in your mind com o G5 que ela liberou ano passado?
Woooooww!!
Te amo mucho mariah carey

Hi sweets looking so beautiful doing great always ❤❤🎉🎉
G5/G#5 ? Chesty Mixed or Heady Mixed ?
I don't know haha, but I think is Chesty
@@aryehapac7572 i think is chesty too
Nobody can mix chesty that high, its a balanced mix. Even sopranos chesty mix goes up around E5
