This song goes so much more deeper in meaning. He mentioned he lost his way and she promised to stay but obviously, her heart couldn't take the hurt that she experienced from him. He's trying to reconcile what he has done but unfortunately, she is giving him a hard time. This is a underated ballad. This song is hard af to sing too. To go from full body talking voice then his transition to Falsetto is crazy. It takes full emotion to do that. Not just mastering octaves. Any one can do that ,like beyonce but lack of emotion. But the emotion you feel when you singing along with him is not embarrasing or insecure you truly feel his confusion and pain to the point that your body is in full motion of dance. the irony is hes not dancing in this video.
