Seeing the city empty and in complete darkness like that gives me some weird vibes man.
Creepy as hell man, I get that feeling time I see anything out of the map or go out of the map on a game its so uncomfortable.

Honestly this game gave me so much, even just from the soundtrack, my fav band is Last Dinosaurs, I love Muse, it was just so epic to me

We had both them maps combined in Need For Speed World check it out it's shutdown now though I know some modders brought it back Soap Box World or whatever it was called search it definitely worth a look

Sorry, but they're not going to make a "remaster"/remake of a 20 year old game in a 10 year old engine in 2024.
I'm not against a MW05 remake, but I don't think EA will ever do it at this point, too much of a risk.

the MW05 map on MW12's engine shows how Fairhaven really has some Rockport vibes.
What this mod needs is traffic nodes to show the Rockport roads as roads so traffic can spawn and police can go there. You could add Palmont, but the NFS World map doesn't have the Old Bridge Road, instead using a tunnel, so the how the connector road links up would need to be changed if you wanted to keep the Old Bridge Road. I also would like to see this map in NFS Undercover as the Rockport Turnpike (the road you come in on in this mod) was designed to go to Tri-City and it was never added to NFS World.
Its very time consuming process, it might come one day, people just need patience

I think the map is from World because the bridge you drove from doesn't exist in MW, which means the modder could add the Palmont Section but that would remove the bridge jump

The MW bridge jump doesn't exist on the World map.. it simply goes down to Carbon's map

NFS MW 2012 has some of the best songs I've come across in any game. I am electric, Butterflies and Hurricanes and Zoom are all absolute bangers.
Just booted up MW 2012 on my PC - M3 GTR and all the DLC still works for me Theo! Maybe your mods are interfering?

I’ve been replaying Most Wanted lately, the OG one. It’s crazy after all these years, i still remember the map so well that i don’t use navigation unlike i have to in the newer games

If you owned the standard edition on PC and used a save with all DLC, it unlocks all the dlc for you also. Cars and extra map
you need to install a dlc unlocker first

i really wish hed try the most wanted 2005 map for assetto corsa. it separates into 2 seperate maps of rosewood and rockport. but its absolutely stunning and it also has a traffic mod that makes the city come alive

I'll never understand how people were 100% ok with going from zero crash cameras & tuning mechanics to 100% crash cameras & zero tuning mechanics. Calling this game "Most Wanted" is like eating pizza, except you get only the dough & then the pizzeria says it's just like a normal pizza

hopefully there'll really be a NFS MW 2005 remake this year as kind of "promised", or at least teased... it's be great to see Rockport remade with today's graphics, and however they should stick with the original physics, or if not, then I think NFS Heat physics would might be appropriate...
Honestly, they should just provide the community with all the tools necessary to give the original game the face-lift it deserves (the Xbox 360 version running natively on PC).
I wouldn't trust the developers not to fuck up MW "05 in the process of remastering it.

I feel like the only issue people had with NFSMW 2012 was that it was called NFSMW. Had it been called something else, it would've been able to live without expectations and eventually gain success seeing as to how multiple people (me included) actually enjoyed the game.
Tbh, I'd kill for a mw remastered, hell id love a nfs undercover remastered. It was one of the most underrated nfs imo
there was nothing technically wrong with Undercover, it was just an unfinished game, rushed, and the developers(black box) were on there way out.

2012 Most wanted just felt like a burnout game more than the original 2005 most wanted, still a fun game though
Meanwhile I've spent the last few days making my own 05 Most Wanted work. NFS Mods has been awesome, as well as the abandonware side of Reddit. I now have an 03 Mustang GT in a racing game! I have an 03 Mustang. It's nice. Make sure you have DirectX if you mod otherwise you will want to punch your screen.

It would be so epic if there was a ramp to enter the Rockport city from where we escaped in Nfs mw 2005.
Remember when gas was $1.76 a gallon? That's the real moral of the story here. (Though I did notice the shell stations do have more modern pricings on their boards...) Honestly, this mod looks amazing and makes me wonder why EA hasn't done a 20-year remaster of Underground 2, Most Wanted and Carbon because it would literally print money.

I think you can still get the cars if you bought the Complete DLC Bundle, which contains, well, all 4 of the DLC Most Wanted cars.
For me it's not even worth getting the M3 GTR, especially when it's been brought back too many times in other Need For Speed games since NFS 2015.
I would give anything for a need for speed 2005 remastered game that would be a masterpiece
Driving around Rockport at night with nothing around and no street lights is really eerie!
I just want one NFS game that has all the maps from games before 2015. NFS 2, NFS 3, Nfs 4 Highstakes etc etc in one game. Same locations, joined by additional roads would be so cool.

If it's gonna be drifting physics like that, I'm not fuckin getting it. Those physics are the reason all the NFS's since 2015 are all garbage. All you do is drifting and crash the whole time you play. 😒

Imagine, we know that the developers and us never forget about BMW gtr rs, seeing that they were in payback and heat, but what if they would've made all games from unbound to most wanted and make it a crossover and a world expanding maps that could be so much fun and then make the gtr rs a storytelling

I think after the truth what actually happened to Most Wanted 2012, more people start to love this game till this days, and I'm sure after a years the Most Wanted 2012 will be iconic game too like the original Most Wanted 2005.

i hated the 2012 most wanted... it didnt have a story, just a goal: Be the most wanted. I play nfs games that have a story to them. nfs undercover to me was a good one. in fact it was my favorite growing up. if they come out with it being remastered... Im getting it hands down! bc i still have my copies on the ds and ps3. it would be crazy great if they digitally remastered it and cleaned it up, heck I even get it for the switch if it came out for the switch

@@BlackPanthaa For me it's like that with Ghost era. It feels a bit too grippy ngl. To the point where drift feels super forced and artificial? As if it wasn't you that is controlling it. And in general feels to slow for an nfs game. Feels a bit like a wannabe realism that doesn't work imo. I wish we could switch between this fast drifty physics and slower grippy ghost physics. I think it could be refreshing to see refined physics from mw 2012 in a new nfs game. Maybe TDU SC will *somewhat* deliver

If you create a private online lobby you can change cars while in Rockport, btw police doesn't follows you to Rockport I tried to do that😂

Just in the construction area alone,
without going up the ramp to Rockport,
the cops get confused and just crash into things.
We need a most wanted 2012 remaster. The multiplayer playlists were so much fun
honestly, the new nfs have terrible handling models. criterions style is very controversial but i think its way more fun than unbound or heat when it comes purely to the driving physics. im happy the modder chose this game and not the newer ones, as much as i love unbound and heat

it could be possible that the criterion have imported the rockport for mw 2012 to remake it, but they got the fairhaven instead.
