Nebawiya Moustafa, A Dancer in Egyptian Film رقص شرقي - نبوية مصطفى

Nebawiya Moustafa is one of Egypt's most celebrated dancers. With a style of her own, Nebawiya Moustafa stood, or rather danced apart from the rest of the dancers yet made a name for herself in the Egyptian Film industry.
Not much is known about Nebawiya Moustafa. All biographical comments will be appreciated.

Yes, Nebawiya does have a style all her own. Not many dancers care for Nebawiya, but she is a FABULOUS dancer and one I show my students often!
I have a DVD of her dance clips on my website and I have that movie with Leyla Mourad in English subtitles. Good movie. Anwar Wagdy, I believe, was one of Leyla's husbands.

this film is called abn el falah or (the son of the farmer) starting Mohamed ekkahlawy and Tahia Karioka... mohamed el kahlawy is the singer that sings in the clip and its made in 1948 this movie is also the story of Mohamed elkahlawy ...good and rara clip for Nabaweya Moustafa ...thanks for posting
