    • @Charlie-wl2qt
      @Charlie-wl2qt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      To me, it's important for him to do that. Because by all accounts he's a deeply religious man, which means he takes his faith into consideration when making decisions, past or future. As the audience, I feel it's only fair to get the full picture of him, as best as he he able to say, when giving his accounts.

      Master manipulator. Odds are extremely high, as a Captain he is responsible for deaths, including innocent people caught in the crossfire. He is also responsible for destroying legitimate businesses which also destroys law abiding peoples lives. He only got out when he realized the government had a significant upper hand. Self serving, then he “found God” afterwards. It’s like a broken record for so many.
      Don’t let his silky smooth delivery and intelligence trick you into thinking any different.

      Very true..and his father ok'ed a hit on him..was just having a discussion about this..they thought this was terrible and couldn't understand how he could love and respect him without wavering after this..I told them that he did that for 2 reasons I believe...one because he had alot of "sons"..not just Mikey and his brother...he taught all his guys sons included that there was something bigger than yourself and that your people, all your people come first..the other was that by doing this he was letting his sons know how much he respected them as men..if he had treated him with nepotism he wouldn't of been treating him with respect..like when a big brother steps in and handles problems for his little brother..on the surface it seems great but the little brother is between a rock and hla hard place..he can't check his brother for sticking up for him without looking ungrateful, disloyal, and disrespectful...but if he dosent then the big brother gets to wear all the pants in the family and the little bro feels permentialy imasculated and his peers will treat him like a punk and not give him respect which makes the lil bro bitter and ugly..by doing this he let his sons know that he had nothing but respect for Them. Which made him feel like he succeeded as a mentor and father..he let him know that when it came to how he viewed him it ...it was as a man and Theres no debating this fact...now that there's no question aboutvit

    Excellent story as always, Mr. Franzese! Your Father Sonny Franzese was a living legend and I honor his legacy. What an amazing thing to be involved with Marilyn Monroe! That is class all of the way. The Kennedys should've kept their word in my opinion. A man's word is one of the few things that he has and I believe greatly in ALWAYS keeping your word. Thank you for the story. Cheers from Vegas! Earl and Roxy Smith

    Easily one of the most entertaining TH-cam channels. I like how he apologizes to non Christians and no religious people. No need to apologize but it’s the thought of it that counts. Seems like a genuinely good guy

    • @jamesharen8607

      I like this as well..as A-theist i hate it when some guy who. Dosent believe in an abrahamic God, is disrespectful ,hateful, wineny, acts intitled..there's no real US as far as that goes. I certainly have respect for believers, nonbelievers, and men of science alike and i realy respect thoes who are sharp enough to see that judging anyone on their firmly held beliefs is usualy a BS and DB move..being scientic minded is only one aspect of our existence and at the same yow-way based belief systems are not more or less enlightened or special or more patriotic or American either...I realy respect when a Christian like Mikey dosent apologize or act entitled because of his Christianity and respects the fact that if you don't believe in a NY kind of
      Higher power it dosent make you any less spiritual or anything elese..most Christians seem like they think any belief system is tolerable and your an allrite guy as long as you believe in something..but for me science and logic and oblivion and no afterlife or savior and knowing all I have realy is myself and my people and what I do here on earth..my lack of faith is as comforting to me as faith is to others..Mikey seems to get this...along with most other facets of the human experience..class act all the way!

    Proverbs 17:28 it’s better to keep silent and be thought of as a fool than to speak and confirm it. Of all the proverbs this is my favorite. It’s great to see someone so connected come to the Lord even though it can be very dangerous for him. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

    In 1951 or 1952 I was a kid of about 8 or 9 years old and my uncle and godfather took me into either Bamonti or Crisi restaurant in Williamsburg where I was introduced to your father. Also, I heard later on when I was older I heard stories about how your father helped people in the neighborhood. One in particular where a store owner (my brother-law's father)who had a store on Metropolitan Ave was having his windows constantly broken went to your father for help and before long the glass breaking stopped.

    Thank-you for sharing Michael! I really look forward to hearing about your life. You reminded me today about my late father-in-law who was a Pastor. My husband was a bitter agnostic who is now deceased and his own father performed the funeral ! He spoke to the mourners about God's love, mercy and forgiveness. I asked him how he could address this so beautifully when he knew his son's beliefs? My Pastor father-in-law had a beautiful reply. "No one but the Lord knows what's on a man's lips at the final moment ". He reminded me of one of the thieves who was crucified with Jesus who asked God for forgiveness at his final moment.
    This reassurance opened my heart and and forever strengthened my faith. Blessings 🙏
