@@nikos.r It is connect because the trolley poles have a springs pushing them up which forces contact. The bus does not use a panto-graph but instead uses trolley poles with open shoes.
Speed had nothing to do with this de-wirement. The insulated runner in the 'no-bo' section isolator was missing, as you can plainly see when the camera zooms-in.
I saw the dewirement and realised that the pole catcher activates and when a dewirement happens it brings the poles down to prevent it from damaging properties how smart

This why in Athens's system technicians have abolished many switches that traditionay used to be if occures a need for a vahicle to follow an alternative road for example if a road is closed and can't go straight to its normaly route so its need to return.Its not worth for a rare scenario such that to have overcounted switches causing frequent dewirments and thus delay the daily programm since you can activate the diesel generator and make your work easilly.
Yea So? We seen this everyday as these MUNI Drivers do not know in what the word of SLOW DOWN when approaching a Line Crossing... As far I know that it is the Driver's Fault for Speeding, Gripping the Brakes, and being a Rue Bastard.... I have dealt with them before....
@@fbonnie6894 It wasn't clear in the video, but the poles at least lowered down. Our buses can do that too and they can even lock them in in the default off position. The driver can then safely continue onwards using the battery until they're in more favourable spot to rewire.
That intersection seems to produce a lot of sparks.

How are the cables connected to the bus pantograph? Do you have any more info pls
basically the bus has trolley poles and on the end of those poles are little conducting shoes that connect to the wires and provides power to the bus
