Just to clear a few things up for everybody when it comes to reborn you have to be extremely careful with where you purchase from there are many companies that steal artists work and illegally cheaply reproduce the kits that they stole you can never find a reborn for less then around 100 and especially not a silicone. The first picture is Levi but that does look like a cheap kit and not a real Levi. The second one is a real baby not a doll. There's many ways to tell such as the creases like in the arms they are to dark to be a doll and dolls tend to look more stiff and unnaturally posed. Reborn dolls also have cloth bodies where they are cloth in the middle and the head arms and legs attach to it like a regular baby doll because you can see the baby clearly has shoulders and isn't a reborn. There's much more information online about these dolls and scams and ways to stay safe. If anyone is looking for somewhere safe to buy I know many wonderful artists that make affordable babies and I also make them myself ❤️ Please never ever fall for the reborn for cheap. They are scams if you are looking for a reborn at an affordable budget they typically start around 200 for the real ones.

I am high sensitive, need a lot space and time for myself, smoke some weed now and then … I have a very good Job as a flight attendant and I love my Freedom. I am still healing, had a lot of therapy in the past. And my Reborn is such a therapy to me. I can genuinly care, love, feeling like a mom without any stress or forced everyday life. I can leave for a flight, without any guilt. My narc/borderline mother abandoned numerous times in my life me and I chose to have a babydoll girl to heal this wound. My parents got divorced and there is a lot of drama, addiction, personality disorders in the family. I dont wann that. I wanna be free and happy. It still hurts, of course, yes. I own a number of them and you would never throw them away as it has been said in other comments because they are expensive as hell like in the number of thousands from 2000 up to 20,000 so you would resell, you would never throw them out they even worth a couple hundred dollars if they’ve been damaged because they’re out there who can fix thembut apart from that I understand where you’re coming from that see all of them to be extremely lifelike for those who either lost a child or have not had the blessings of being a childbearing parent, but I do understand and you’re entitled to your opinion God bless

When I was getting it for my sister decade ago, I knew them as collectables and it didn't mention depression. 1st is a reborn doll, 2nd is a REAL baby from a scam site. Lots of scammers out there as reborn dolls are very expensive works of art.

I really want a reborn doll, I’ve had them before, we have a spare room in the house that I wanna turn into a nursery for reborn toddlers, we have money, not saying we are rich, we are but I’m not bragging here, my parents have the money to do that for me, I’ve asked them too, I’ve asked them for dolls, but my parents call me crazy, they say I’m weird and that the dolls are creepy and that I’m creepy, they just don’t get me, and it hurts. I had 3 dolls and I was super happy, but one day while I was at school my mom threw them out, I’ve been in a bad mood ever since…💔
Those are actually not mostly for ppl who lost baby or can't have kids. Most ppl who have them are just collectors who love baby like dolls. It's not actually recommended or considered healthy for most people who lost a child. I can't remember why, anymore. Anyway, they are creepy and cool at the same time. I got one for my sister when she was 9. It was a Christmas gift. It was so cool and it was a boy. I was excited she wanted a boy because I always wanted a son and was so excited to check it out. It was pretty creepy but I almost kept it 😂 it was too expensive
I have two reborn baby dolls I played with as a child. I’ve never gotten rid of them. I plan on keeping them both. My mom has two baby dolls from when she was a little girl, that I’d love to play with, and I plan on doing the same. Plus, they’re so expensive!
