My wife had her stroke a month and a half ago and we are 2 years going on to three years of our marriage. To be honest, being by her side is the best place for me to be. I would not change it for anything else. I love her with all of my heart and I will continue to be by her side. She is my miracle. She's now able to stand by herself and she is able to be mobile as well. This song captures what's like. I pray that If God could exchange my place with her. I would give her my life if she asked for it in exchange for her full health. She is my hero. She's my superwoman. She's my world. I will give her the world in a heart beat.

I lost a very good friend of mine on December 21st 2024 in a car accident. It was a the first time I experienced the loss of a loved one. He was a man full of love, ambitions and values. 2023 November 7th, I'm listening to this song. It comforts me and give me strength. On 2022 February 15th, my husband had an extensive type A Aortic dissection, he went through 10-hour surgery and survied. The recovery is slow and painstaking. Whenever I feel tired and down, this song rejuvenates my spirit. Thank you for this beautiful song.
This song have been a big motivation when I was in hospital with my little brother (close to death) but I listend to this song (and sang it over and over again) everyday in a month. Bread Sandwich I don't know why you're complaining. I just went and searched through it, only to find that it had to do with 'fame' and not really anything else. It was the fact that the fame was pressuring them more and more ever since it came about, and it was putting a strain on their relationship. They made the conscious choice to "break up" so that it would go away. Fans broke them up realistically, but even still, Juliana herself asks that "fans" don't worry about it. He's still there, and they still do all the same things they used to. But now, instead of being 'best friends' and getting married, they're 'soul mates' and able to go wherever they please in whatever context. You say it as if he left her in his dust, but he didn't. He's not an ordinary guy, and she's not an ordinary girl-- she's brain damaged because of her own reckless driving, and he's a successful musician with a great career ahead of him because of hard work. She doesn't want to bog him down, and he doesn't want to make her feel like her disability means the whole world is going to come crashing down. Do you have any idea what it means to love someone? It means that you'll be by them no matter what, that you'll stand up for whatever it is they believe in just as much as you would your own beliefs. If they believe they deserve you to be there for them, you believe in it too. Not because they believe in it, but because you love them and it's not a simple belief anymore. When you're truly in love with someone, yeah shit can happen and sometimes it hurts a lot, but you really just can't diss the beautiful things. I get that it seems like he abandoned her, but she clearly stated that he didn't. She's still happy, even if him potentially moving on hurts her. All she wants is for him to live his life in the best way he can, admitting herself that she didn't live her life in the best way she could, that being why she ended up the way she did. Did she ask for it? No. Did he ask for it? No. Neither of them is in the wrong at the end of the day; no blame needs to be placed, no fingers pointed. They are not trying to play it out that way and so I don't think that the 'fans' should take it upon themselves to do it for them.

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through 6 months of chemo, a double masectomy, and I just had surgery for my breast reconstruction. In 5 days we will be celebrating 12 years of marriage and he has been so supportive throughout this whole process. Love this song!

To all that was wondering if Chris is still together with Juliana. No, they broke up and he found a new girlfriend and have a new family now. But even though they broke up and he moved on, it doesn't mean that he forgot her or left her behind. He is still in contact with Juliana and visits her from time to time. And he didn't make empty promise, because he really was there with her all the way when she needed him. But now that Juliana is better, she wants him to have his own life and move on too. Yes, it's unfair that he can move on while she's left behind, but this man paused his life for a few years, to take care of her and stay with her until she got better on her own. And even after moving on, he still finds Juliana and they are still as close as ever. It was both parties' wish that he move on, and it was only because of their love for each other that this could happen. So please, don't think badly of this man just because he have moved on. Juliana and Chris are still in contact as close friends. He never left her. It was a joint a decision with Julianas family who all decided it was best for the split as a couple. Only then, Chris moved on and met the Norwegian he has now who he had a child with. They are all friends and he still stays at Julianas when he visits and has taken his current wife and child along. Chris is an awesome strong man and its been a tuff road for him too, thus he has been in therapy himself to cope. Everyone is a victim in such a tragedy! They all need love and support. Its beautiful to see they ALL love each other and are all close. Including his current family.

I don't know why you're complaining. I just went and searched through it, only to find that it had to do with 'fame' and not really anything else. It was the fact that the fame was pressuring them more and more ever since it came about, and it was putting a strain on their relationship. They made the conscious choice to "break up" so that it would go away. Fans broke them up realistically, but even still, Juliana herself asks that "fans" don't worry about it. He's still there, and they still do all the same things they used to. But now, instead of being 'best friends' and getting married, they're 'soul mates' and able to go wherever they please in whatever context.
You say it as if he left her in his dust, but he didn't. He's not an ordinary guy, and she's not an ordinary girl-- she's brain damaged because of her own reckless driving, and he's a successful musician with a great career ahead of him because of hard work. She doesn't want to bog him down, and he doesn't want to make her feel like her disability means the whole world is going to come crashing down.
Do you have any idea what it means to love someone? It means that you'll be by them no matter what, that you'll stand up for whatever it is they believe in just as much as you would your own beliefs. If they believe they deserve you to be there for them, you believe in it too. Not because they believe in it, but because you love them and it's not a simple belief anymore.
When you're truly in love with someone, yeah shit can happen and sometimes it hurts a lot, but you really just can't diss the beautiful things. I get that it seems like he abandoned her, but she clearly stated that he didn't.
She's still happy, even if him potentially moving on hurts her.
All she wants is for him to live his life in the best way he can, admitting herself that she didn't live her life in the best way she could, that being why she ended up the way she did. Did she ask for it? No. Did he ask for it? No. Neither of them is in the wrong at the end of the day; no blame needs to be placed, no fingers pointed.
They are not trying to play it out that way and so I don't think that the 'fans' should take it upon themselves to do it for them.

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through 6 months of chemo, a double masectomy, and I just had surgery for my breast reconstruction. To all that was wondering if Chris is still together with Juliana. No, they broke up and he found a new girlfriend and have a new family now. But even though they broke up and he moved on, it doesn't mean that he forgot her or left her behind. He is still in contact with Juliana and visits her from time to time. And he didn't make empty promise, because he really was there with her all the way when she needed him. But now that Juliana is better, she wants him to have his own life and move on too. Yes, it's unfair that he can move on while she's left behind, but this man paused his life for a few years, to take care of her and stay with her until she got better on her own. And even after moving on, he still finds Juliana and they are still as close as ever. It was both parties' wish that he move on, and it was only because of their love for each other that this could happen. So please, don't think badly of this man just because he have moved on. He moved on, but he didn't leave her behind. What exists between them was true love, and it still is!

Juliana and Chris are still in contact as close friends. He never left her. It was a joint a decision with Julianas family who all decided it was best for the split as a couple. Only then, Chris moved on and met the Norwegian he has now who he had a child with. They are all friends and he still stays at Julianas when he visits and has taken his current wife and child along. Chris is an awesome strong man and its been a tuff road for him too, thus he has been in therapy himself to cope. Everyone is a victim in such a tragedy! They all need love and support. Its beautiful to see they ALL love each other and are all close. Including his current family.
