Not particularly. The are very hit or miss. There are some that are truly amazing and I do recommend but they are not for everyone. They are costly. Namely Nakamichi's own Reference series are probably the finest I've ever heard. But again, be prepared to pay A LOT of those. Cheers!
Actually, of the small form factor Walkman I own, yeah, this one seems to be the one I favor and I’m not exactly sure why specifically! There must be something about the way it feel in my hand with it’s more rounded lines. It is not as “boxy” as others. Maybe that’s it. Using the Bass Boost is fun too from time to time.

Hmm? I don't know what Stanton has anything to do with this post whatsoever? This is an original label audio cassette played through a WM-DD33 Walkman. Now, if what you are complaining about is the quality of the recording please bear in mind this was a rather "crude" live recording from 1967. It is as faithful to the cassette as humanely possible. Whatever grievance you might have agains the recording quality it has nothing to do with my gear or the way I captured it. This is basically what the engineer captured out in the field. I was never meant to be an audiophile recording so let's enjoy Jimi's mastery, shall we?
