We all love you no matter how chaotic you get. Grief is soo hard girl! When my mother died I grieved so hard that my health suffered. Only time heals it, at least in my experience. That’s all I can offer in advice. I was lucky that I had a very supportive husband. Big hug.
I've been watching you for years and I think you're so funny and talented! Also I'm a Hospice nurse and will say take your time to grieve. It is one of the hardest things and I can't say it really gets easier but it does get better with time. ❤
The NYX Bare With Me Hydrating Face and Body Concealer is my fav concealer right now. It works great for concealer but also for lighter makeup days I love it as a foundation. It’s so good

The Too Faced Born This Way concealer is my favorite for if I don't want to use foundation. I know its an older product, but it's perfect! I like using the Tarte Glotion and that concealer, and it just leaves me feeling even without a lot of makeup on. Awesome!
I need to get “continue, girl, continue” tattooed on my arm - I so relate. Time does heal, but what you do with that time determines whether you heal well or with a nasty scar, in my experience. I hope you “continue” to treat yourself well and do what you need to heal in the most beautiful way 💗
I love my Salt NY sneaky balm because it's so undetectable on my skin when I apply with a brush and only in the places I need coverage-- it's one step up from a concealer for me in the loveliest way, I've all but stopped wearing foundation. Salt is also releasing new blush shades tomorrow which look STUNNING. Cocoa is my all-time fave.

Thin and lightweight but with good coverage that also sheers out. Sets down but not in a crusty way, doesn't need powder if you don't want to add any dust. Or if you're down for a light coverage easy every day for more natural makeup days, the ELF concealer clicky brush pen things are incredible. A serum leaning satin drydown with a light to buildable medium coverage that looks really natural and cheap enough to use all over the face or keep in your bag for touchups.
The new Makeup Forever HD foundation is AMAZING. Makeup Forever just does complexion products so well! I've also been loving the Nyx Bare With Me concealer, seriously luxury for a drugstore formula!!!
5:55 yes! If you find this concealer please share. I use glossier stretch like that but I would like an option that sets down a tiny bit more. Also, that eyeliner really impaired my vision one night. I used it on my waterline for the first time and once I was at my event my eyes were streaming, it was so hard to see I had to pluck my contacts out and throw them away while sitting in the audience!
Hi, I'm really enjoying Estee Lauder Doublewear Flawless Wear concealer. Maybe it's not new and exciting but the quality is nice. It is thin and creamy, but very pigmented and has the power to set. It's actually not so similar to the original foundation which is more on a dry side (though they work great together). They also have a radiant version, but I haven't tried it
I think you would love the Half Caked cream cheek/lip products in the heart compacts! They apply so nicely with a dense brush and really become 1 with skin. They leave a dew and can be sticky depending on application. But with a dense brush it takes to stickiness out.

The Makeup Revolution concealer in lightest shade and the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer in Chantilly are my fav fuller coverage concealers. They are good colour matches for me to, so I can use them as spot conceal foundation products.
I’m intrigued by that sneak balm! I’ve never seen it! I love that rare beauty primer. I love a lot of the rare beauty products. The powder is the only one that I have mixed feelings. Some days it looks great others it looks dry. I think it depends what foundation I’m using.
I like the Colourpop Pretty Fresh concealer - I use it pretty much all over my face. It doesn’t feel heavy. I don’t usually like their face products. I’ve used Nars, Kosas, Dior - lots of brands- and PF is still my favorite. The price is a nice bonus!

MOB Beauty palettes are the perfect size for Salt NY products. They don’t magnetize the individual product but the lid has magnet and secures product in. 🙂
I've been loving the Nyx serum concealer and the Moira cosmetics concealer - both creamy and hydrating but easily blendable and last a long time. I've also been loving the Makeup Revolution CC Skin Tint. Don't even know why I bought it but it blows me away every time I use it. Also, I lost both my grandmothers this year, so I understand ♥️ What helped me was not running from it. I have their pictures around, stuff I was able to keep from their houses in my house, and when I feel sad, I just let myself feel sad. Time does help.
Concealers that I love and use constantly are Pixi Pat Away & Dollar General's Believe Beauty Concealer. I hate to admit but I also like the Kylie one too.

that linda hallberg quad is absolutely beautiful and perfect. i love quads because they’re easier to find in your collection and you can then use them more often. on a more serious note, i deal with serious depression due to my health condition. i’ve had over 4 dozen surgeries on my joints and in turn it’s led to needing other surgeries, so it’s caused a lot more than just physical pain throughout the years. i’m now an amputee confined to a wheelchair who will forever need help with everything for the rest of my life… and i’m not even 40 yet. wtf 🥺
I just wanna tell you that I picked up the Yensa foundation that you love and I can see why you love it so much! It sinks right into skin, doesn't look cakey whatsoever, has a nice medium-buildable kind of coverage, and a beautiful dewy finish but still dries down more than most dewy-finish foundations. I am so into it... I also picked up the newer Yensa foundation and really like that one too. So now I have a little Yensa obsession. I bought their cream bronzer and brush to try. And wanna try more of their lip products. Thanks for the great recommendation! ❤️
Regarding Salt NY, I just bought their 8 and 4 pan palettes (they are beautiful), and then filled them with all the tints I love from them (including two of the Sneaky Balms). I love it, but I’m also not a beautuber, lol.
Salt NY does make a really nice dove grey vegan leather zippered magnetic palette that fits 4 of their pans. I know that might seem like more than you need but it's not much larger in the hand than that MUFE one you're currently using! Great for travel and it's nice and classy. It's definitely true you'd run through the Sneaky Balm quickly but you have to remember it's the same size pan for all of their products and for a complexion product that's small - and the price comensurate. 16$ is definitely inexpensive for a skin tint/foundation if you compare to similar indie MUA brands like say Wayne Goss or Danessa Myricks, so I think the price reflects the small pan size!
Nars creamy concealer shade Madeline 2.5 will work for you. I use it for my under eyes and I love Nars . Is my ride or die. I tried other concealers but I always end up coming back to Nars!
I can’t remember if youve tried the new NYX concealer, but I like it for a light coverage base instead of foundation. Use my fingers or a small brush to lightly move it around.
Lauren I have mature skin and love bare minerals stick mixed with the wand concealer. The wand one looks just like dewy foundation. I just spit treat and to my eyes and nose in my in a hurry. A little cream blush eyebrows tubing mascara and lip gloss. 5 minute make up really good for summer. Also Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer is my 2 choice.
From my experience, you dodged a bullet with the dry primer. I was so excited for it and it pilled on me. Every. Single. Time. I love your look! So glam. I think I need that quad. 😍😍😍

I like using either the og Maybelline age rewind or Neutrogena radiant concealers when going for no foundation. They're not the fullest coverage more medium but I think they just lay so beautifully on the skin. For more coverage I go with the cover fx power play concealer. For foundations I'm loving the it cosmetics cc glow, la girl tinted foundation and Laura Mercier light revealer for lower coverage and when I wanted more coverage I prefer the Joah primedation it's smoothing and looks great on my 44 year old skin.
Ive been tempted to try that nars soft matte concealar in a tub. I put a swatch on my hand the other day and was shocked how smooth it looked. So hard to commit to something new though!
The Armani Power Fabric or their High Precision concealer are two of my tried and true concealers. I go back to them because they are lighter weight and never cake or crease on me. Highly recommend even though they are pricier. They work so I think they’re worth the price. 💕
The benefit boing concealer is so underrated. It’s pretty medium to full coverage, but thin and lightweight. It doesn’t highlight texture or dryness on my skin
Girl Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer is where it's at for concealer/foundation. Yes it's known for being mega coverage, but I think that sells it short. It's incredibly versatile, you need the tiniest amount, and nothing looks more like skin for me. Cannot recommend it enough.
Hi I’m new to your channel, so not sure if you’ve tried but I’ve been really enjoying the huda faux filter concealer. It really covers but doesn’t look dry or crepey. I have aging skin so I notice that a lot. The only thing is I chose a colour that was too light, so my advice is to go by the description if you buy online.

Have you ever tried the Tiger Grass for redness, to wear before foundation? I am trying to catch the Sigma color corrector ( the little duo palette ) and it's always sold out on the website, especially as soon as the 75% off sale hit, I jumped on immediately...sold out in my shade, darn! The brush I used at the end was from BK Beauty and it’s the A502 which is apart of the Angie Hot & Flashy collab! I used that brush again today with the Roen Natural Rose blush on top of powder and it looked great and wasn’t to glowy or sticky! I will definitely try to put a brush video together soon!!

I have never clicked so fast. I was so excited to see this quad! Edit: I'm not sure if you've ever tried the the Laura Mercier concealer, but I find that it's so easy to apply with any tool and it always disappears into the skin while maintaining coverage.

I live in Arizona and my skin always gets quite red as soon as I step outside and I have sun damage that just won't go away I have tried every skincare product I've gotten them to go down a lot but definitely still there so instead of trying to cover it all up and make up all the space I kind of just embrace this and burnt cheeks I put my blush over my cheeks it gives me coverage and color I really don't wear foundation or concealer anymore I'm 35 and I've noticed any liquid products that I put under my eyes especially if I'm going to top it with a powder just makes me look older so if I can get away with making the rest of my face like a little darker with blush and bronzer and and I look I really don't feel the need for foundation or concealer it all ends up meshing well together and I'm German and Irish so I have really thin pale skin and super dark circles under my eyes and I still feel like I can get away with it

We're creatures of experimentation, Lauren (the reason for changing from a makeup routine that works).I'm not fond of creams that stays emollient. I much prefer formulas that are more a cream to powder. I don't like the stickiness from many of the cream blushers. I LOVE the Roen eye shadows, but not certain about the new cheek products.
I totally get Depression. I have clinical depression and am a recluse and go quiet and want to hide. I also live with severe Nerve Damage in neck and lower back, Osteoarthritis. Mentally I also have CPTSD, night terrors and often wake disoriented about time, then IBS and GERDS which trigger inflammation from my Psoriasis. LOL I love that sparkly slightly purple and all those beautiful sparkles that capture the light. ILY girl and hope things go better for you. Makeup and art are my passion and is extremely therapeutic.

I love the sigma corrector but the other concealer that I am lovingggg is the Nyx bare with me serum concealer!! It’s so good!

Sneaky balm seems to work best for me when applied sparingly like a concealer. You look absolutely lovely though.

I like using either the og Maybelline age rewind or Neutrogena radiant concealers when going for no foundation. They're not the fullest coverage more medium but I think they just lay so beautifully on the skin. For more coverage I go with the cover fx power play concealer. For foundations I'm loving the it cosmetics cc glow, la girl tinted foundation and Laura Mercier light revealer for lower coverage and when I wanted more coverage I prefer the Joah primedation it's smoothing and looks great on my 44 year old skin.
Ive been tempted to try that nars soft matte concealar in a tub. I put a swatch on my hand the other day and was shocked how smooth it looked. So hard to commit to something new though!
The Armani Power Fabric or their High Precision concealer are two of my tried and true concealers. I go back to them because they are lighter weight and never cake or crease on me. Highly recommend even though they are pricier. They work so I think they’re worth the price. 💕
The benefit boing concealer is so underrated. It’s pretty medium to full coverage, but thin and lightweight. It doesn’t highlight texture or dryness on my skin

Girl Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer is where it's at for concealer/foundation. Yes it's known for being mega coverage, but I think that sells it short. It's incredibly versatile, you need the tiniest amount, and nothing looks more like skin for me. Cannot recommend it enough.
Hi I’m new to your channel, so not sure if you’ve tried but I’ve been really enjoying the huda faux filter concealer. It really covers but doesn’t look dry or crepey. I have aging skin so I notice that a lot. The only thing is I chose a colour that was too light, so my advice is to go by the description if you buy online.

Have you ever tried the Tiger Grass for redness, to wear before foundation? I am trying to catch the Sigma color corrector ( the little duo palette ) and it's always sold out on the website, especially as soon as the 75% off sale hit, I jumped on immediately...sold out in my shade, darn! Hope your days are looking up! The brush I used at the end was from BK Beauty and it’s the A502 which is apart of the Angie Hot & Flashy collab! I used that brush again today with the Roen Natural Rose blush on top of powder and it looked great and wasn’t to glowy or sticky! I will definitely try to put a brush video together soon!!

Edit: I'm not sure if you've ever tried the the Laura Mercier concealer, but I find that it's so easy to apply with any tool and it always disappears into the skin while maintaining coverage.
I second this, I love using the laura mercier concealer all over the face, it blends like a dream
@@lojaned isn’t it just? Now, I just need them to expand the shade range so I can get the right shade match for myself. It’s my ideal formula but the 0.5 is slightly olive for me. If you have any recommendations, let me know!
Salt New York does have cases, they come in an 8 pan or 4 pan size, those they are a bit pricey
I live in Arizona and my skin always gets quite red as soon as I step outside and I have sun damage that just won't go away I have tried every skincare product I've gotten them to go down a lot but definitely still there so instead of trying to cover it all up and make up all the space I kind of just embrace this and burnt cheeks I put my blush over my cheeks it gives me coverage and color I really don't wear foundation or concealer anymore I'm 35 and I've noticed any liquid products that I put under my eyes especially if I'm going to top it with a powder just makes me look older so if I can get away with making the rest of my face like a little darker with blush and bronzer and and I look I really don't feel the need for foundation or concealer it all ends up meshing well together and I'm German and Irish so I have really thin pale skin and super dark circles under my eyes and I still feel like I can get away with it

We're creatures of experimentation, Lauren (the reason for changing from a makeup routine that works).I'm not fond of creams that stays emollient. I much prefer formulas that are more a cream to powder. I don't like the stickiness from many of the cream blushers. I LOVE the Roen eye shadows, but not certain about the new cheek products.

I totally get Depression. I have clinical depression and am a recluse and go quiet and want to hide. I also live with severe Nerve Damage in neck and lower back, Osteoarthritis. Mentally I also have CPTSD, night terrors and often wake disoriented about time, then IBS and GERDS which trigger inflammation from my Psoriasis. LOL I love that sparkly slightly purple and all those beautiful sparkles that capture the light. ILY girl and hope things go better for you. Makeup and art are my passion and is extremely therapeutic.
I have the same problem with the sneak balm. I love the finish, but it accentuates all my pores and texture !😭
