I'm sorry about your koi losses, better that they were accidental than a disease. The rest of your "kids" look fabulous! I got my koi and Shubunkins to eat out of my hand by offering freeze dried Krill! They go bonkers for it! Looking forward to watching the pond progress, those plants, OMG!❤
Oh definitely the one I use is the all season when it gets colder I use the cold weather food but when it drops 50 degrees and lower I don’t feed them at all

Hey Brotha! lots of bad news this time around.... but still, it is lovely to see Tiki Falls 4.0 is coming along nicely. I've been searching and searching this last couple of days trying to understand why your goldfish might have gone after the ochiba (I'm bummed out, that one was my favorite of the new ones), and after checking a bunch of reason, a couple could have been, something called feeding jealously, in which they are pretty pissed because someone is eating food that belongs to them. And the other one, is that goldfish become aggresive when they feel that they are overstock in an aquarium pond, which might also explain why did go after other fishes. I think that's just one more reason why Tiki Falls 4.0 cannot come soon enough! Hope the exacavator can be sorted out soon, it is pretty exciting seen progress!
Yeah that all makes sense and that’s why I got rid of them no more aggressive fish for tiki falls… my koi are literally my babies! 🤙🏽💯🎏thanks for the heads up braddah and the excavator is fixed today!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Just a piece of advice buddy...build as deep as the pond liner will allow. If you want your babies to become jumbo koi, give them depth and distance. Avoid too much shelving as that takes up a lot of the footprint. Just a thought :)
i fell you brotha been dealing with an outbreak on my pond and my big sushi sadly passed and 8 other of my kois 4 of them were beautiful butterfly koi been doing salt baths on the remaining 8 hopefully my biggest koi which is a Kohaku hopefully the last survivors push through
