Nice to see you in Salou Kevin. My wife and I are going to Salou in September. We will be staying at the Salou park II hotel. Where you are just now is a wee bit to hectic for us (busy roads). It's a completely different feel/vibe where we are staying. I'll keep watching your videos and hope you find your way towards where we are going to be staying. Take care
We stayed in the H10 vintage Salou a few years ago. Really lovely hotel. Went to book again for this year and it’s now adults only so couldn’t book it as we have an 11 year old daughter
We went to house of illusion many years ago it was a tiny place then think it was about 15 years ago. Great to see its still there fantastic night we had
You're spot on about how random everything is laid out in Salou. Go over to the Ramblas, over the road from the Flower and a street over, hotels, music bars are at the top of the Ramblas with places to eat. It's much quieter up there too. A bit further up, past the centre of Salou is a lot more bars, hotels and restaurants. To be honest, you might have been better in Cap Salou or La Pineda which are way quieter than Salou and only a short bus ride away. Make sure you buy a bus card and top it up from the Bus Plana shops, a single fare is about €2.40 but only about €0.65 anywhere on the routes with the card and you only need one per group.
The seafront and the road you filmed here are amongst the busiest roads in Salou, maybe the old town as well. Lots of streets in Salou with a lot less traffic, and half of Carles Buigas has now been pedestrianised and the other half is being done at this very time. I've been to Benidorm and Tenerife as well, with Benidorm being my least favourite. I prefer Salou out of the three, but I like the fact that the buildings in Tenerife are more modern and look less tired. Salou has a nice vibe and is only 2 hours from home, so I accept it isn't perfect and always have a great holiday.
Yes mate harry potters is amazing Johnny the owner is brilliant ask him about dan from Newcastle with the man bun haha! I’ve done loads of videos from salou! Love it there! Always stay at the vintage
Of coarse it is. We stayed at cap salon then salon palace as near the parks, plus they opened a sports bar below but that wiz 15 yrs ago 😮 .tell the weans to behave through the day or no parks at nite.chillie dog n a pint up the parks.heaven…full cooked chicken was minted aff the street shoaps, but been a while as 29 n 25 the weans noo.but Kevin enjoy your work.bringing back memories.thanks m8,Scotland fans has been a credit tae thier country.❤
Honestly not really familiar with the parts you're exploring in the first 5 minutes or so. Probably further up from the main bit I was used to when I was there (I mainly just did the strip and seafront promenade for bars and restaurants). 3:30 that's the hotel I stayed at though, 4R Playa Park. Good hotel tbf, right across the road from a smaller beach, but you need to walk like 20 minutes to get to the main bits which was annoying (a couple of bars around the area I was staying, but only like 1 or 2 decent ones).
Thanks for Watching !

There's The Flower of Scotland pub that serves Tennants lager.
Yip was in it ta
Just seen 2 people i know sitting in the grapevine on the video when you stop at the menu they are sitting there.
Stayed at the H10 Vintage earlier this year really good hotel but as you say not as pretty as Tenerife
Same as anywhere. Salou has prettier parts than that. It's like filming Veronicas and basing your opinion of Tenerife solely on that.
I’ve only been there once years ago …can’t remember it much. Too much traffic for me, think Benidorm and Tenerife are better 😀👍
