Many film productions have taken the ferries to shoot at locations in the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island, and Vancouver Island, but never the Gulf Islands... until sometime this year when the producers of the live-action version of The Little Mermaid travel to the Southern Gulf Islands to do some principal photography there.
