@@GlacialBolt You've got a great idea. you just need to polish the game a bit. gave the towers at least some animation. add everything to publish it. and boom! you've got a really good game.
Edit: also can you PLEASE not add rng toy soldiers? rng in td games are some of the worst. like getting bosses on EVERY SINGLE MYSTERY
The thing of the waves getting extremely harder quickly, is because the game wants you to repeat waves until you are strong enough to beat the next one

You guys should play Toy Defense now because it now finally finished it bugs and all the glitches except the one that literally when you try to place a garden tower it just pops up a black cube and you can’t see where your place yet but it’s still got added and fix it
sup. toy defense developer here. Yeah it's last actual update was in 2019. i agree it sucks but i kinda made it for fun just so me and my friends could have fun; which is why i never bothered to patch bugs. told people that ive been working on a huge update that overhauls the game, but when a game is directed towards kids patience isnt very common. I could totally make you vip if you joined the group🤣

I have played this game before. I honestly enjoy it a lot. Early progression is super slow but creativity blooms later on. I also believe they fixed the glitch at the start where it makes you join a few times.
They haven’t. It’s supposed be like that, so the game waits for a available team so you can join.

The reason it kept rejoining him is that the teams were full even tho they could of just made it 4 people so he could easily get into a server where he could play.

@@cooin2808 They may want that, but whenever the teams are full the game rejoined me when I played it, the devs may want that but their script makes the person get rejoined when they try to join and all the teams are full.
Toy Defense got a GIGANTIC update, it's a lot more fun now.

slikeytre no longer makes games on roblox. he told me he prefers unity
he may occasionally develop TD:G but im pretty sure most of his time will be on unity
he has a great gamecalled Hex Tower Defense that i got to test
hes also a developer helping me with the toy defense release so thats a 👍

i heard that Toy Defense got a rework. You should give it a try again.
next time you review some tower defense games you should try scp tower defense, the game gets very frequent updates that are always very exciting because of the amount of content in them. We also have an event going on and I think you might get some awards if you join our group and tell the dev your a youtuber since we do have something for content creators. I really think you should try it since we do have a pretty good amount of active players too.
Yes as a scp expert and tower defense expert, it's the perfect mix for me and if you don't know the scp lore it fine just play like a normal tower defense game

There are actually 2 events that are active and well even a level 0 can win breach mode use D-classes as basic start-mid defense then switch to Nine tail foxes to take the boss down and other high hp enemies also D-class should be used for early memetic enemies

New update came out two days ago on May 24, 2023. The game actually looks like there was effort put in now and a lot more content was added. Elite should give this a try again.

Felt a little weird when you couldn't figure out how the game works but at least you now know. Toy defense Has a very good idea, I love it. But yeah, not a lot of content and a bit grindy.

Even tho the quality of toy defense isn't perfect, the idea is really cool! I think they don't deserve 49% likes.
I know what the point of it is, Basically you have to build a defense while this random bot make their owns. After that, You can launch your army and then battle some random bot where he launches his army and attacks your army guys.
They are doing a huge update on this game rn the teasers show what it is supposed to be like it, in the teasers it looks absolutely amazing with good sound effects with more detailed weapons and blocks with ragdolls with bosses.
i love how every time you search up a game, theres always that one doomspire brickbattle game that pops up
Also the game is loading and changing server because its finding a server that has a free plot aka no one in that plot because its not possible to join in someone elses plot since you need permission.
Toy defence is pretty fun.
Unless when you reach the last wave and there are no more waves to beat.

even though toy defense have 5 devs they dont really want to do anything about their game and acknowledge that their game sucks and needs bug fixes
the idea of the game is really cool and if they decide to spend more time to actually develop the game i can see that the game will do very well

um 1 of the devs is an idea pitcher (they dont need to work on the game), the other is an alt, and another is only there for performance enhancement. there are only 2 real active devs

I played this several years ago. It hasn't updated much. You're mainly forced to find a server with 3 people or less.
If you ask me for tactics about progression about this game, all I simply did is: Keep buying all the wooden lunchboxes until you can't place anymore soldiers.
Toy defense isn't really that bad i had alot of fun it just has bad rates and low players and the devs are lazy

Toy defense is not that bad. In fact I’m pretty good at it. The bad ratings are because it’s a beta game. It’s more that new players make it harder to play. If you call me rude then explain why I should waste my time over level 3 when I can easily solo 21. By the way soldiers have bigger guns. Specialists have automatic rifles. Marksmans have sort of snipers. Recruits are basic. By the way no it’s not easy. Wave 22 is 100 enemies spawned in a second. With gunners shovels and tanks. Tanks have crazy health. Shovels have 2x damage. Gunners have extra range and more health. I also forgot to say the rejoin bug is a feature so that people don’t automatically join teams others have. Or if all are occupied.
To be honest that game has some great potential but the devs are just soo inexperience, another game dev could yoink the idea from them probably.

that game has more enemies, and that enemy at the end that took more shots was a different enemy with a shovel, you advance while the enemy advances in this gamelike marksmen can do more damage but more fire rate and enemies can have a tank at the final wave, etc

At the end. Those strong enemies were shovel enemies which are stronger and destroy blocks faster.

I played that game, there is actually many enemies. Theres a boss that is a jeep and marksman took it down. Marksman is like ranger.

This is the game a year ago, and yes, it looks horrible. Now this game now is sooo much better, you should definitely play the new version. Its an actual good game now, and its actually made by good devs.

Toy Defense is not “trash” it is unique it’s fun and lastly its sandbox do and build whatever you want, and also there was a tank for the last wave really intense needs a castle like build to win.
