He reminds me of D. Rose with the athleticism. D Rose used to land to the ground after dunking like that when he entered the league. I missed the 2011 D Rose. Don’t want the same thing to happen to Zion.

He's 284. I think he should drop about 20-25 pounds. He'd still be huge at 6'6, 260. His game wouldn't be effected much if any but the long term physical impact on his body would greatly improve.

zion developed the mechanics of leaping and landing since he was young, if he continue to perform the same then he would develop all physiological/psychological/kinesthetical needs in order to sustain that ability. However, as age goes maybe by 29 years of age or up, he would start to show breakage of the body as we cant stop human degeneration stage.
degeneration stage comes person to person, some people got good genes, some have not. So you get back to Zion's parents and grandparents in order to identify his genetis or to wisely guess his degeneration age.
If Zion continue to listen to this negative comments, there would be a chance that his confident level will go low than pre-NBA time. If his confident level would go down, the chances of injury or re-injury is high.
So let him play and enjoy and love the game; he is young let his body develop all the necessary body components to sustain his extraordinary ability; humans are great with ADAPTABILITY!

He's a beast no doubt about that. He's young so he can jump like that and his body (knees) will recover quickly. As long as he takes care of his body he will have a great career. He's got great basketball IQ for a young player. He thrives in the Pelican offense, so the skies the limit for him. Watch them knees, young playa!

I have a cousin who also played both basketball and volleyball in college. He's is also built kinda like Zion, one day after playing pick up basketball, he the went to play some volleyball. He blew his knees when he landed after he jumped and spiked the ball, Took him to the hospital and him fixed. Never played the same way again. I say, have Zion try and trim down some of his weight but still maintain overall strength. Dwight did it. Sure the Pelicans should've somehow thought of this.
