14:33- He didn’t lose his teeth again, they were snap in teeth last season, he even took them out and held them in his hand. He has cleidocranial dysplasia, he will never have a collarbone or clavicle. His teeth also grow in late - when they did too many grew in and they ALL needed to be pulled. The snap ins he had in season 2 were just there to replace the teeth that weren’t there yet. Now, in season 3- they have started to grow in, there was no option but to place an unneeded retainer and rubber bands in his mouth.
The opening scene takes place between Season 1 (Nov '83) & Season 2 (Oct '84) before jumping ahead to June '85. El is still in her year of isolation that Dr. Owens wanted, it wouldn't be up until October '85.🙂
But isn't the one in the opening scene is underground under the new Starcourt Mall? I'm not sure when they started making it but I'm pretty sure it's a new thing. That's the one that the gate they closed right? The machine was there plus the keys.

It has been such fun watching your reactions to Stranger Things. I have seen the whole series, remembering it through your eyes is fantastic. Beware of Unintended spoilers 😊
Season 1 premiered Fall 2016 and Season 2 was Fall 2017. Season 3 didn't premier until July 2019, so about a year and half between release dates to coincide with the summertime setting of the season, and Season 4 started production in January 2020, and was scheduled for release in January 2021 (so a year and half after season 3), but COVID-19 shut production down until October 2020, and didn't wrap until August 2021, which bumped season 4's release date to May 2022. So in all, we got 4 seasons in just under six years.
Bear in mind too that s3 is set just about a year and a half after s1, and s4 is set a little under a year after that. They did a remarkable job at portraying the kids ages accurately considering. It will be interesting to see what they do with s5.
Season 3 takes Stranger Things into a totally different place from the first two seasons and amps up the show to truly breathtaking cinematic vibes. The characters introduced as the show grows into the wider world are great especially the introduction of Robyn as Steves side kick.
Just a random bit of trivia-the song that plays when Billy emerges in his red swim trunks is the same song used in Fast Times at Ridgemont High when Phoebe Cates emerges from the pool in her red bikini...it won't be the last time that film is invoked in this series, either.
I love season 3. It does a lot of new things, which was the biggest issue with season 2 (it felt a bit like a remake of season 1). Maya Hawke is great. Murray getting more prominent is great. Elle being part of the group more than ever is great. And all the 80s anti-Soviet tropes are a fun addition to the palette of the show.
Sorry you were not forewarned of the Billy car equals rats...keep your head up Pudgey! Great reaction. Note the 80s themes in the story line, call backs to movie like terminator and the Russian guy choking w a flat top, billy coming out like the phoebe cates scene in fast times at ridgemont high, Dustin referencing her, tying it all together. So many movie nods, the thing, the blob. they essentially wrapped up the entire 80s vibe of pop culture, the times and the movies, music. As an 80s kid this may be the best show I have ever experienced for nostalgia. So much of my childhood represented. The best part of life
How many Phoebe Cates easter eggs are in this episode? Do y'all even know Phebe Cates? Hint: The first scene with Billy (coming on duty as a lifeguard) , the music playing is Moving in Stereo by The Cars. 10 awesome points if you know what movie that was a reference to and why.
I love the cockiness of saying ‘that’s a Russian flag’ followed by saying you’re well educated. Aww the hubris 😂 FYI that’s the flag of the Soviet Union.

I just get more and more excited to see you guys get deeper into this story! I, personally, feel - with the exception of an episode here and there - that Stranger Things is one of the best shows Netflix has put out. It’s just too good through and through. I’m happy to see that you’re both enjoying it so much!
I feel like season three is where you start to see, what i feel is one of the best things about this series, how much these experiences has impacted them and changed them. I think its great writing, because you start to see how much trauma they all carry around with them, all the time.
Why does everyone hate on Mikes dad? I know he's a bit of a lettuce at times but he would have had to work his ass off to be able to provide that house and those luxuries for his family. He has the right to relax in life now, no?
Spartan- "It's always some human doing dumb shit" Well that sums up the history of mankind. That's why the aliens never stop to chat and I don't blame them
With what Dustin has, his baby teeth came in late and then he lost them and his adult teeth took a while. He also wore falses season 2 but needed to get more surgeries before he could have permanent teeth.
The condition he has, the baby teeth hadn't come in yet on the first season, he had baby teeth in season 2, and now he lost his baby teeth again. It delays the growth. 😀 It confused me at first too but it's how the condition works.
The actess who play the girl who work with Steve is the Daughter of Uma Thurman, the actress of Kill Bill. It’s so obvious, she has exactly the same facial expressions I think!
They show Barb's corpse. Pudgey: we still don't know if Barb is dead. They pull Billy away. Spartan: no way that Billy is dead, we can't loose him like that.
Long distance in the 80s did seem like a lot of effort haha but Dustin goes to lengths to talk to her and it’s sweet, good thing they’re both nerds haha
You say you know Frasier and it's one show you do know, but what you heard from the TV was not from the show Frasier. It was actually from the show Cheers, but the Frasier they mentioned *is* the same character from the show Frasier. Cheers was the biggest sit com of the 80s, and Frasier was a successful spinoff that came out later.
I really love Eddie in season 4 but my favorite by far is season 3! I can't wait to see your reactions to Dustin's and Steve's reunion in the next episode... It's so funny...

Ohh "mauled"! I thought Pudgey said "I hope you guys get MOLD in this room." 😭 I was like why would the upside down give them mold lmfao
I would NOT want to encounter mold from the upside down tho
1:02 the passion from the fandom is like a smaller version of GoT's
fun fact: the top two most popular series of all time on IMDB are 1. GoT, 2. Breaking Bad, and 3. Stranger Things. looks like your community took you in that order.
@@Rainienuabo The opening scene takes place in the Soviet Union. We see the General leave the snow-covered facility and the soviet flag flapping in the wind. During the intervening year they get the 'laser' working and then replicate it in their newly-built facility under the mall.
I absolutely love Pudgey's brilliance in figuring things out before they happen. I loved Season 3- like a big budget summer movie. It was my favorite by a nudge over Season 1--- until the amazing, incredible Season 4 (minus the totally avoidable continuity error)
Welcome to the Best season of ST so far. The whole season is an epic journey that feels like a movie from start to finish.
S4 is much better
I love 3 but I have to say that 4 is better
I respect your opinion bro. But season 4 takes the title of the BEST. The internet went wild with the release of season 4
Dustin has a genetic condition called Cleidocranial Dysplasia [he has that condition because the actor really does have the condition] and that affects both teeth and collar bones. So his teeth don't grow in at a normal rate. So what you see is real, that's how the actor's teeth are and rather than doing something to hide it, they just wrote it into the character.
Hopper is such a vibe this season in particular. 💜
No he isn't, I hate what they did to his character this season, his comedy was so cringy at times. He was way too comedic compared to his seriousness in the past two seasons.
@@manvirshergill1739 Me too. It's like they just *erased* all of his character development from last season. He doesn't even seem like the same character in this season. Awful.
@@manvirshergill1739To each their own.
We require three episodes in a week
Yeah but I want Shogun episodes too 😩 The only ones I dont' enjoy is Gen V, I think the audience target is teenagers I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as The Boys
@@nephastgweiz1022 shogun Is it good ?
It’s spectacular you won’t regret it
Who's 'we'
@@anas-e13 started watching “Evil,” it’s quite good and very creepy..
this is my favourite season! very excited
worst season
*my*
my favorite season as well, except possibly season1... the original is always hard to beat.
The girl working in the ice cream shop with Steve is the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman (you will find this fact more interesting after you see Uma Thurman in her iconic role in Pulp Fiction... if you guys ever get a chance to watch it 😉).
Them and constantly thinking dead characters are alive 😭 They emphasized Bob because Joyce is still grieving and wasn’t ready to date or be in a relationship with Hopper.
@@TheMuddySea Yes, Seasons 1-4 take place from November 1983 - March 1986, so about 2 and a half years.
Omg thank God you guys are doing this straight away, I was so nervous there'd be a break before season 3, thanks for posting it right away
I know we're JUST diving into season 3, but boy I cannot WAIT for y'all to start season 4!!!! ITS EPIC
I really like your guys channel because you’re not making us wait months and months for just one episode
The twice a week ST uploads are keeping me going 🤣
Season 3 takes Stranger Things into a totally different place from the first two seasons and amps up the show to truly breathtaking cinematic vibes. The characters introduced as the show grows into the wider world are great especially the introduction of Robyn as Steves side kick.
Bob, Barb, Benny, Billy... 😮
This is serious O_O
The best part of life
I love the fact you both are SO into it 😂😂 we all loved this series and cannot wait for season 5!
14:45 This scene is a reference to a scene in the film _Fast Times at Ridgemont High_ including the music “Moving in Stereo” by The Cars.
Checking on Pudgy when she was sweating. Knowing about the car accident was a good look for you Spartan. Nice to see your softer side.
🤣😅
I can't believe we are on season 3 already I really hope you do season 4 as longer videos so us fans can rea,ly enjoy your reaction to it. I can't afford patron otherwise I'd be one of yours for sure. I've loved this entire journey with you guys I love that you love it as much as the fans do
I scooped ice cream in college and not only sprained my wrist (during a day long summer festival shift) but a week later aggravated the sprain. I collected disability insurance for 3 weeks. Stay strong fellow ice cream scooper.
I think ya'll are going to grow to love Max.
Definitely!
They really ramp up the horror in seasons 3 and 4.
Season 1 came out in 2016
Season 2 came out in 2017
Season 3 came out in 2019
Season 4 came out in 2022
And now season 5 in 2025
Why does everyone hate on Mikes dad? I know he's a bit of a lettuce at times but he would have had to work his ass off to be able to provide that house and those luxuries for his family. He has the right to relax in life now, no?
Spartan- "It's always some human doing dumb shit"
Well that sums up the history of mankind. That's why the aliens never stop to chat and I don't blame them
they aren’t watching Frasier, they are watching Cheers. Frasier was a 90s spinoff about the character Frasier who was a patron at the bar in Cheers
I dn't know if anyone has mentioned this, but the Bloopers of Stranger Things S3 is quite funny, especially the Hopper scene
Pudgey being arrogant and smirking while being so wrong about the soviet flag, cant stop laughing 😂
So glad y’all love the series!! As do I!! Rewatching it with you makes me smile all over again ❤
Poor Billy always getting his ass handed a bit before going on a a date 😅
Spoilers
Justice for Billy to finally get a date in..Heaven?
The unsung heroes of stranger things: Oberheim Two Voice, Prophet-5, Roland SH-2, and ARP 2600.
Not gonna lie, I'm Mrs. Wheeler when Billy takes his lifeguard post. 🥵🥵
Cougar
With what Dustin has, his baby teeth came in late and then he lost them and his adult teeth took a while. He also wore falses season 2 but needed to get more surgeries before he could have permanent teeth.
The condition he has, the baby teeth hadn't come in yet on the first season, he had baby teeth in season 2, and now he lost his baby teeth again. It delays the growth. 😀 It confused me at first too but it's how the condition works.
This is my favorite season. im excited to see you guys watch
Frasier was a spin off of Cheers
IT'S YOUR GRANDMA. watch the bloopers lol
The actess who play the girl who work with Steve is the Daughter of Uma Thurman, the actress of Kill Bill.
It’s so obvious, she has exactly the same facial expressions I think!
the flag shown at the start was the old flag for the Soviet Union or CCCP.
Benny too guys. The "B's" don't last.
They show Barb's corpse. Pudgey: we still don't know if Barb is dead.
They pull Billy away. Spartan: no way that Billy is dead, we can't loose him like that.
Season 3 is my favourite season - i love them all but 3 is just my fave, i’ve watched it many times
Long distance in the 80s did seem like a lot of effort haha but Dustin goes to lengths to talk to her and it’s sweet, good thing they’re both nerds haha
So glad season 3 is here. Can’t wait for you to do all of them. Last season is finally coming this year I think?
I lowkey wish they’d watch and react to the OG charmed, especially since it’s 8 seasons and they have a good 20ish episodes per season
This is my favourite season, especially with what happens with Steve, and those close to him.
Billy, Barb, Bob... you forgot Benny! Pudgey's favorite.
I literally look forward to watching the episodes with you guys 🤘🏼
I really love Eddie in season 4 but my favorite by far is season 3! I can't wait to see your reactions to Dustin's and Steve's reunion in the next episode... It's so funny...
Snuck into the theater once for Toy Story 4 after seeing lion king 😂 luckily right before it started while the front row of the theater was empty 😂 it was worth it bc I bawled in the end lol
Dang, I didn't realize there was B thing.
Spartan: “We don’t know flags”
Pudgy: “Speak for yourself mate” 😂
I like how you guys don't wait a long time to continue this series after a season is over. Very different from other channels I've seen lol. But yeah this season is very good, and season 4 is hands down the best so far.
11 Millie Brown was born In Spain and she also played a character as the sister of Sherlock Holmes. After stranger things she turned into something different. Like she got rude for real. But I did like stranger things though until it progressed into late season 3 and 4 was well watch for yourself lol.
36:50 I bet Spartan will change his opinion on Max soon enough.
Absolutely her scenes with Eleven are great in season 3 and well obviously season 4 she’s a character everyone really cares about
You guys. I kept checking to see if I liked this video. The best duo, I'm excited for your season 4 uploads and even more pumped for season 5 shortcoming.
Nah don’t put the piss on max lol, at least she supports eleven and mike despite them being the ones ditching their friends smh, I mean Dustin just got back and even tho they don’t believe Susie exists at least they trekked out there with Dustin and put the contraption together to help him talk to her. They’re good friends for sticking around but yea I get it. I too miss when the four of them would hangout and play D&D but guess people grow up like Mike says or whatever, tho you’re never too old to be DM and it is a bit sad that he grew out of that
