This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie this movie is so funny. Jack Nicholson is a great actor I just saw one of the best movies ever. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was hands down amazing but kinda sad.
Justin Awesome yes but don’t forget happy Gilmore, the water boy, billy Madison, 50 first dates, punch drunk were great Adam sandler movies when he was funny. Nicholson was hilarious in this for once a savage. But don’t forget Jack Torrance in the shining and joker in the 89 batman movie.
Jack actually has a really good singing voice I would like to see him sing a song a a time or to he is one of the best actors and in my opinion one the most underrated actors from the shining to all come back Jack we miss you!!
Adam Sandler originally tried to get Eddie Murphy for the role of Dr. Buddy Rydell. Steve Martin, Robert De Niro, Bill Murray, and Dustin Hoffman were also considered for the role.
I always liked the scene where Adam receives a phone call informing him of Jack's mother having surgery in Boston so, at first, he tries to exaggerate her condition to Jack in hopes that he will leave for Boston to be by his mother's side and leave him alone for a while. When Jack starts to bawl over his mother potentially dying it's hilarious but a little sad as well before Adam tells him it was a joke so he'd relax.
Couldn't have cased it better he's assertive yet professional he doesn't take any crap but he's a great doc though also fun to probably chill with after hours
This movie always reminded me of Meet the Parents… because both movies star losers (Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller) and the costars are 2 of the most legendary actors of all time (Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson) and both legendary actors steal the show from both of the losers
