Hey fellas had NEWBIE question lol, im looking at getting this jet and I am curious can i just buy a Flysky 6channel transmitter with reciever & plug and play? Thank you so much if you get to this, looking at taking to the skies!!
For optimum setup you need a 7 channel receiver for Ailerons, Elevator, Throttle, Rudder, Landing Gear, Flaps and Gyro. If you plug in everything but Gyro to your 6 channel receiver then I think the Gyro would stay in Optimised mode which would be OK I guess.
Will the fms 70mm viper fly safely on a 4s battery? Yes, I know the 6s is recommended and yes I know the performance will be less, but will it fly safely on a 4s? I don't want to experiment to find out and then have it crash because it does not have enough power to stay in the air.
@@EssentialRC it will fly perfect fine on a 4000. But you definitely notice the weight compared to a 3300. And will still 100% will say a 3300 will make this bird feel even better in the air

Ok so i just ordered a flysky i6x 10 channel, what channel should i plug the gyro in? Thanks again for the help!!@@EssentialRC
@@arkansasrcnewbie If the jet has a Reflex gyro system in it you just plug the patch cables into your receiver. Assuming that's what you meant.
@@arkansasrcnewbie Any spare channel and map it to a 3 position switch

Nah. Wouldn't even bother trying. It needs 6S4000.
@@EssentialRC thank you, sounds like good advice to me
@lw216316 If you've got a 4S4000 then buy a 2S4000 and make a serial harness to make 6S4000 😉
@@EssentialRC hmmmm, that might work
What is the weight of ur 6000mah battery ?
Thanks
No idea. Why would I bother weighing it?! Just fly the thing. If it flies OK with 6000 mah then happy days.
Yea but I am trying to fight out my cg with fpv setup. How do u for the 6000 in there ?
I think 3300 6s is the sweat spot for the this
I've not seen any disadvantage to 6S4000. Does everything with that pack size.
