As an Army vet who's grandfather, father, 6 uncles, sister, 2 sons, 8 nieces and nephews that served, I appreciate the love you showed to this WWII vet. My uncle died on the infamous USS Juneau (CL-52) with the Solomon Brothers. Our entire family is deeply steeped in the military and when someone takes time to stop and pay tribute to men and women who serve with distinction at the level of pay these troops get, I am always highly appreciative. I did not follow his foot steps and join the military after I got my nursing degree, but the 2nd have of my 44 year nursing career I worked for the VA and it was a great honor to serve those brave men and women who have served. 🇺🇲

Thanks for showing this. It made my night. It reminded me of the few times I took my mom and would see her sit there with her purse on her lap and just enjoy herself. She passed alittle over 3 years ago and I miss her so much. This brought back a wonderful memory of a time with my mom.

Thanks for showing this. It made my night. It reminded me of the few times I took my mom and would see her sit there with her purse on her lap and just enjoy herself. She passed alittle over 3 years ago and I miss her so much. This brought back a wonderful memory of a time with my mom.
