Amsterdam has housing crisis. Apartment, houses etc are quite expensive, so councils (municipalities of India) allow leasing of floating house and living in Boats

All major cities in Europe, difficult to find a house for a smaller budget! People in The Netherlands, Belgium etc live in boats, because that is the lifestyle they choose, also it is cheaper than owning a house on land or renting it out. I have two Belgian friends living in their boat for many years.

Stayed in Amsterdam for 5 years and now back to Mumbai....badly missing Amsterdam after watching this video...Netherlands is heaven on earth...those are house boats and people lease out on AirBnb....Delft is a place in Netherlands which is famous for blue pottery...

@@pareshrana3268 Suit yourself.....Amsterdam has a large Indian community....Diwali celebration, if not better are equivalent to India....you get Indian food now almost everywhere in Amsterdam including Mangoes, Amul butter, Ashirwad atta, all Diwali sweets....I can admit I was missing India while in Amsterdam because you need to cook food, do grocery shopping, clean house and other daily chores all by yourself....but now I feel it was worth it...

He reviewed trains and complained about "no charging spot", as an Indian, We can be proud about that we atleast get a charging spot in trains. 😛
But the trains are nasty asf so it overshadows the charging spot facility.
@@yuvraj_912 Yeah I admit, The local trains are mostly found filthy and smell very bad, but premium trains are clean as compared to their peers in some developed countries.
@@mohitaswani7726 mate, even the developed trains of higher class lack in that. The only difference is that the not so privileged class of society can access them because of the poverty. Otherwise the facilities are not even that great, be it food or restrooms. It's better but still bad. Poverty is the doom of India.

Amsterdam is generally very expensive city...real Estate or Hotels can be super expensive during holiday times, especially summer. Eating and drinking out is ok prices. Amsterdam, and other cities in the Netherlands have a big Indian community, especially Suriname Indians, who are third generation Indians immigrants.
