Thanks for taking time to document and share your experiences and insights. The 'Spoleto valley' (Umbria Region / Perugia Province ) provides many wonderful communities and homes to consider. I've enjoyed building some close friendships with native Umbrians, and while I only get away a few times a year (from USA), I continue to see living in this area of Italy increasingly more likely.
