Tara. I agree with you because obviously the baby is in pain when they are screaming their head off but I am not sure mom-shaming helps . The mother is going to get defensive. They should at least consider what you are saying. But on the other hand; it's the mom's choice and her kid. I can see both sides.I like my idea about piercing the ears on the same day the baby is getting a shot.:)

Прокалывать пистолетом, это более цивилизованно и лучше, чем способ прокалывания ушей как в Индии, там вообще малышке прокалывают уши каким то шилом, причем это так больно, что ребёнок кричит благим ором, а потом вставляют серьги.
