The Stryder, Wyvern and the Magmasaur we're creature designs we definitely needed in game. I like the ones we got, but the concepts looked so much better
Should've 100% added the X-Dragon to a custom map, like maybe on Fjordur instead of the regular dragon. It wouldn't need new abilities, it would just be awesome to see it in action.
Mystery Theropod is weird because it looks a bit like Albertosaurus to me, but has too many claws and too much arm for that. Best guess is that it's a fragmentary Theropod they just decided to reconstruct as the most generic thing ever. Honestly glad this one didn't make it in, it's impressive how nothing whatever this is is. Not-Phiomia is a Platybelodon or similar Gomphothere, they were elephant relatives infamous for their mouths. Stygimoloch seems right. The only other animal it could reasonably be is Dracorex, which seems to just be a baby of Stygimoloch/Pachycephalosaurus. Cranioceras is a massive headscratcher of a design too. I know ARK likes to do their dinos wrong on purpose, but it just seems weird to mess with the horns of an animal this obscure, considering animals with wilder horns existed. If you hadn't told me it was Cranioceras I would have had no shot on figuring out that that's what it was meant to be. "Other Equus" feels like it is prolly just an early Equus, considering the one we got later takes far more wild horse/zebra inspiration. There were other extinct horses, some pretty big, but I feel like ARK would make an effort to avoid animals this aggressively similar unless they're Theropods. Small feathered dinosaur is a massive mystery again. Best guess for it is Sinornithosaurus, an animal that was thought to maybe be venomous for like, about three years or so back in the twenty-tens. Seems like Troodon or Microraptor took over its niche instead. I think Beta Thorny Dragon was probably a case of the ARK devs picking an old idea back up (a thing you sometimes see in stuff like Pokemon too) considering just how many little design details the thorny dragon shares with this design but NOT the actual real life Thorny Dragon, most notably those under-scale spikes. Cat Nameless is a funky concept, feel like they might have changed it either because it was too similar to Ravagers, or because they couldn't really sell this version in their artstyle. God, the Sky Manta looks good. Shame it fell through, could have added a lot of life and tonal cohesion to either of the Genesis space biomes. Swarm falling through is a minor tragedy ngl Gigantoraptor and Acro I'm glad they skipped out on, the later/modded versions are both far better designs than these two imo OG Strider is whack. Would have been neat to have. I think I prefer this Wyvern design a bit but the snake neck would have been a nightmare to work with lmao Crystal Griffin is pretty, too bad they took it out, f
The wyvern concept looks cool, wouldn't mind seeing it being added as its own new creature. Like stronger than a wyvern, but worse at flying and more ground focused.
4:08 looks kinda like a concept for the Chupacabra. Some folklore/cryptozoology details often describe it as having two vampire-like fangs as well as a 3rd fang on the bottom of the mouth that would often result in dead animals being found drained of all their blood with 3 symmetrical puncture wounds in their necks. Otherwise, a lot of these look like early concepts for creatures we already got in the game like the Equuis and the Thorny Dragon.
I think I remember looking into the corrupted death worm I saw they removed it due to people complaining about like how strong it was but like so are the wyverns and gigas so it could be that but sounds unlikely
1:47 Metrocanthosaurus 2:00 Platybelodon 3:20 Early concept art for the Equus 3:20 Velociraptor 3:40 Early concept art of the Thorny Dragon 4:16 Chupacabra 4:30 Early concept art of the magmasaur 11:02 Early concept art of the Karkinos
Corrupted Deathworm can be added via .ini edits or using Simple Spawners mod, but the likely reason it was removed is it's buggy as hell. Extinction is basically built on nothing, probably because of the sunken forest and most of the time the Corrupted Deathworm just despawns. They ARE spawning, you can track them with programs like Larkator, or Ark Save Visualizer, or mods like the SS or S+ transmitter, but only once in a while will they actually jump out of the ground and attack the player. We have seen them on our server though. That's most likely why they were pulled. They're almost certainly falling under the mesh and despawning.
3:37 could this have been an early design for the compy? When it was first discovered compsognathus was thought to have 2 fingers (we later found out it had 3) and the feathering might be to differentiate it from the jurassic park compy? Idrk it looks like a small dromeosaur or sorts
9:05 tbh that area looses novelty and becomes boring very quickly, these dinos would have fixed that. They fit the area perfectly! I wish they weren’t cut from the game :(💔
Your mystery therapod is most likely Majungasaurus. Only therapod I can think of with a horn on its forehead. Wildcard is known for not following accuracy well and just basing their stuff off of Jurassic Park designs. Which probably explains why it doesn't have vestigial arms.
my boys pulling up early development photos passing them off as new, theyre almost all design drawings for dinos we have, not much new besides the first dragon and a couple more
I regret that the Crystal Griffin and fire bird. But most of all I wish we could tame a dragon. Maybe about the size of the current Wyvern. But what do I know? I’m still a new player on the Island. The Wyverns will have to be pretty special to lure me away from the Argentavis.
I was about to say, isn't it a Skin you can get? I remember their being like 5 or 6 Tek skins you could download that included the Parasaur, Raptor, Trike, Quetz, Stego, and Mosasaur. But all of them got naturally wild versions you could find/tame in the world other than the Mosa.
It's on Xbox too. You can get Tek skins for the: Mosa, Raptor, Parasaur, Trike, Stego, and Quetz. Though, all but the Mosa ended up getting physical wild variants that just spawn naturally in the game now.
I mean, technically you can get the Tek Mosa. It is a downloadable skin you can get. I think there are also downloadable Tek skins for the: Raptor, Parasaur, Trike, Stego, and Quetz as well. Whenever you start up a new survivor, if you have the skins downloaded, they automatically appear in your inventory so you could just apply them to their respective creatures if you tamed one. Though...I think all but the Mosa did get physical Tek variants that you can find naturally spawning in the worlds.
How is this click-bait? While I will admit that a fair number of these look exactly like early concepts for creatures that we DID get in the game...like the Equuis and Thorny Dragon...some of these look like legit ideas for creatures they considered adding to the game.

Yeah the styder looked awesome I wish we could of got that version
@@OnFire944 idk no why but that thing looked like it would be really freaky just to have it walking around extinction

Yeah that would of been awesome!
I know how to get wyvern Tek saddle use wyvern armour mod
To get the hive and swarn
The manta ray one I think was for scorched earth and they where gonna call it the sandray

I believe the theropod was siats
i also think the gorgonops was replaced with the purlovia as theyre not too distantly related
I believe the X-Dragon was originally for the Gauntlet but was replaced by the Brute Fire Wyvern.
The wyvern concept looks cool, wouldn't mind seeing it being added as its own new creature. Like stronger than a wyvern, but worse at flying and more ground focused.
The second concept art its maybe a Metriocantosaurus (Probably spell it wrong) and the third one is clearly a Platybelodon
I believe it was the siats in the concept art
I think it might be majungasaurus
I thought it was tarbosaurus

I hope that some creatures from those concept arts will be added to ascended cuz we have wyvern and gigantoraptor so yea we can wish
And acro sooner than later
@@JaxSparrowMaybe yea but it's mod being made to official so i'm not counting that
Most of these are clearly just early concept art for creatures we did get
1:46 I think this is a platybelodon. The image makes it look like a phiomia but they were actually about the size of modern elephants
Wow I didn’t realize they were that big. Makes me wish they would of added to the game
I swear everyone keeps forgetting about the blade wasp in Genesis 1
I don’t forget I repress those can stay forgotten for all I care

The poison wyvern should have the concept art model, the serpent-like head just feels right for poison
4:58 dont quote me on this. But i think thats an old desert titan design.
When you look at the colors, it makes sense. I would’ve preferred this over what we ended up getting.
9:05 tbh that area looses novelty and becomes boring very quickly, these dinos would have fixed that. They fit the area perfectly! I wish they weren’t cut from the game :(💔
Swarm used to be planned AS a Ragnarok Boss, and Magmasaurs were originiy proposed for Scorched Earth
nice to see a new creator do quality content
keep it up vro
He ain't really that new
1:31 That Theropod looks like a Tyrannotitan but dunno really
We should make a pull or something for them to add the OG strider for the new roadmap they are making
2nd Art was a Tyrannotitan (100% sure) same looks as Tyrannotitan.
Your mystery therapod is most likely Majungasaurus. Only therapod I can think of with a horn on its forehead.

Weird question, would you ever do 100 day challenge type of video?
I have before but I probably won’t do one again in the future.
i am trying to make the gorgonopsid
The Gorgonops deserves it's rightful place in the game
my boys pulling up early development photos passing them off as new, theyre almost all design drawings for dinos we have, not much new besides the first dragon and a couple more
The hive I think would be insane
The elephant thing is a platybelladon (I think I spelled it wrong I think)
You did indeed spell Platybelodon wrong but you are correct about it being a Platybelodon
1:31 that's the beta version of the carcha
1:51 platybelodon.
2:24 yes
7:09 these would make the master controller too hard.

Hope they come to ARK2 at least
One of the prehistoric beasts mods includes the koolasuchus.
hey heads up if you use the tek mosa code you can use it in the game so we did get it they just never said anything its a skin btw though

The second on I think is a tarbosaurus
I bet it is a Metriacanthosaurus
It’s the charcar. It was completely redone when it got added to ark.
Bro I love your vids
Don’t forget all the creatures that were removed from Crystal Isles that iSpezz had on the map!!
the Phiomia like creature is a Mastodon the precursor to elephants & Mammoths.
It's actually called a Platybelodon. A member of the Pachyderm family
@@CaptainReptile yes still is also A mastodon though clade wise
De unde pot cumpăra jocul ? Cine mă ajută ?
Gg for ur videos guy
shouldve had the early magmasaur instead. Ark was better when its animals were more believable
The third one would be the Platybelodon
Is this video a repeat? I swear I saw this the other day. Good video regardless
No but I’ve talked about some of these before in other videos
1:48 that’s a Platybelodon
the third one probably carcha 4th platybelodon an ancient elephant the nameless thing probably the original design for the nameless
but isnt acro in the game already
The second one is Siats Meekororum
Is this video a re-upload? I swear I've seen this before.
No I’ve talked about some of these creatures before in other videos so maybe that’s why
i think syntac or someone like that made a video about this
Fun fact, tek mosa is a buyable skin on ps4

personally i think they should not add them at all and stick with tek saddles, while maybe using tek creatures for bosses minions or thing like so
