Can the Amtrak locomotive finally enter the channel? As in being repaired I would actually love that so I will say this channel is the greatest and super legendary
That be an Abandoned EMD SDP40F. Only 3 survive today, that being Amtrak no. 644 which is at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, now being rebuilt back into its SDP40F design with plans to paint it into its Amtrak Phase 1 "Bloody Nose" Scheme. 2 Other SDP40Fs are in storage in a undisclosed location with an unknown future
Locomotive rescued from the North Sea , and one from outer space , and one from a partially collapsed tunnel under a mountain , and one from under the Capital Building in Washington DC in a secret tunnel and finally one in the spaces behind the faces on Mount Rushmore. They’re everywhere!
@Gustavtime, Totally Awesome rescue of that Amtrak locomotive. Looked like an FP45 (or similar unit). Also, there was an 'abandoned' San Francisco Key System transit car, on the opposite track. I would like to see that rescued and restored, as well. If there are any 'Transit' trains (Trolleys / Streetcars / Subways) in that particular Simulator program, I would like to see those as well. Two EMD Demonstrator SDP40Fs are at the TTC awaiting an uncertain fate
Santa Fe purchased a few of them and rebuilt them for fast freight service.
The plans have changed and has been decided to paint it into a phase III paint scheme
