Please do not misunderstand me but the bike that you had has got a regulator rectifier unit in it which will constantly charge the battery at 14.5 V on numerous amps I may be misunderstanding you but the battery charging and discharging of 18 650s need very precise charging And discharging are you saying that the bike has this sort of battery management system and not a regulator rectifier unit I do enjoy your videos and I find them very informative a big hi from the UK thank you for your content

Use lead rosin core 60/40 solder, forget the lead free stuff it's garbage, clean the surfaces with fine sand paper before soldering, use a proper sized soldering iron about 40 watts for this job, solder quickly using no more heat than needed - do not over heat. With leaded solder the finished joint should look shiny, if not, reheat and add a little more solder. And again, don't use lead free solder, it's too hard to solder with, especially for a beginner.

Charging the lithium batteries without BMS is not a good idea..! The batteries will be dead or exploded soon... You have to use BMS (Battery Management System)..!

BMS is needed other wise it will destroy your own rectifier and short circuit or you will replace with LifeO4 battery. Other wise it is ok.

He's so insistent that every vehicle.... Including a friggin motorbike that only shas a simple 2 or 3 wire rectifier to go from 14ish volts AC to DC. That's it. He's wrong in saying every vehicle has a bms. Actually ZERO vehicles especially bikes have bms, as in they DO NOT HAVE IT

@@ABTabi eh no. cant because the bms need to check the + - pole to balance. you made a 4s unbalanced system . so your video shows a 4S system with 16,4V , unbalanced.
Dont make this setup.
