In the states"Festival's are a very new thing" did he say, has he never heard of the Looaplooza famous festivals ?
Lollapalooza started in the 90s. Isle of Wight and other large European festivals have been going since the 60s. I'm assuming that's what he means by "new".
aimelle3 Quite so, Lollapalooza since 91 thanks to Perry Farrell of Janes Addiction, so I wouldn't consider that as new really.
