The Dynavin N7 Pro turned out to be a great headunit and it greatly increased the comfort of my E46 ZHP. Because it's the pro version it comes with Ilink and full apple carplay out of the box which is amazing since it gave me great audio in my E46 as well as navigation and overall ease of use. I would definitely suggest getting the Pro version because trust me apple car play is 90 percent of the fun. The Dynavin is also a pretty OEM looking head unit so I absolutely love it!
Hey, it seems not a lot of BMW E46 owners knowing there is a GPS spot behind the instrument panel. Lower the steering wheel, screw the 2 torx screws out (Torx 10 or 20), push gentle at the top of the instrument panel and take it out and lay it at side. Now deep in the dashboard there is a flat place that fits your gps receiver perfectly, and because it sit so deep in to the dashboard, it can see the gps satellites right behind your front window. It's a clean install with good reception and a clean view because you can't see the GPS receiver.

Thanks for the awesome video. Recently had the N7 Pro installed and what a huge difference. So much better than the OEM Business Stereo. Highly recommend if you have the means.
Nice work Bro... Subbed! I see in the comments you’re adding subs, and that’s my plan once I order my head unit. I’m really huge on audio clarity, and I’m concerned about the pre amp voltage on the N7 Pro model. I want to go with a premium amp and sub set up, as well as swapping the interior speakers for premium ones as well... Probably all JL Audio. Since the head unit is the most important component besides external amplifiers of course, I’m hoping the N7 Pro is up for the task. I haven’t yet watched any of your other vids, but I definitely enjoyed this one. Stay safe Bruh, and keep 46’n!🔥💯✌🏽
Is this headunit still compatible with the CD changer from the trunk? 6 CD changer? Factory installed?
It’s not really clear how the Apple CarPlay is hooked up. Is that white dongle connected to your usb outlet next to the ash tray? Please clarify with some pics or another video. I have an E46 m3 with the OEM navigation. I want to switch to the N7 but very confused about the Apple CarPlay usb connection

Thanks for the video, however the two wires that's attached beside the cigarette lighter there is not an appropriate pace to attach them. Showing how you attached them them would be helpful. I bought the same two units as you and there is no appropriate port to attach.

i have a question i have the same head unit but mine now turns off and black and stop working then 2-3 hours later starts working again then does the same thing later do you know why?

Dope car, zhp right? I have the sedan version, same interior w/ 6 speed. Really liking the way the head unit looks and sits so flush. Did you have to get the Bluetooth obd reader for the car diagnostics? Was everything plug and play with the Harmon Kardon system?
I didn’t get any reader cuz it really doesn’t give much info in the software and yup the Harmon kardon was all plug and play and am installing subs vid coming!
I have this on my e46 and i wouldn't recommend it, the screen is very glitchy and the other day it fully froze, im in the process of fixing it.
What’s the difference between pro and flex version?
Flex is a cheaper version where you will need to buy software licenses if you wanna use Apple Carplay / Android Auto, install new apps or update the maps of the navigation system. Pro version has everything I just mentioned already built-in.

Hoping to find a wireless CarPlay unit as there is no place to rest your phone where it would not be sliding around and falling.
Yeah I personally mount my phone to one of the air vents and it stays out the way
