I was digging around YT for Weepies live footage, having just learned that they're currently doing their final tour (in early 2022), and came across this gem of a video. I'm sad that I never got the chance to see them live. That just makes this video more precious. Thanks for sharing this very good quality recording, on behalf of those of us who'll never get to see them in person.
Sadly, no more. As I write (early 2022), they are doing their last tour, after divorcing just at the start of the pandemic in 2020. But their music will live on, on recordings, and with Deb, at least, performing Weepies tunes as a solo act.
This is an incredible recording. Sad how rare their live footage seems to be. One of the best duos of all time. Deb’s voice is as smooth as velvet. Didn’t know she had breast cancer but am so glad she made it through. God bless.
