My SG1 is Mitchell. I think him and Ant are neck and neck (and if Book is classified as a SG this szn then him too). All three are ofc elite 3 level scorers, but they’ve all done great work becoming more all around players. Spida and Book rlly have become high level playmakers and improved their defense, while Ant is a high level defender and improved his playmaking. NBA got a lotta killers rn
Great video, I personally declared Spida as the best shooting guard in the NBA mid-way through the celtics series. He alone was keeping the Cavs afloat, and do not get me started on how he torched essentially every player on the celtics leading either a triple, drive or assist. He really loves playing against Boston, and in my opinion picked them apart the best.
Yup. He was the best player in that series. If he could got anybody to ride with him in game 3.. the series would've been tied 2-2. And who knows how,it ends from there.
If Dmitch played for a big market team like LA he would be easily recognised as the best SG in the league. Thank you for making this video the people must know
Considering he already made a vid just like this for book I’m guessing he’s making a case for book , Mitch & ant to be SG1🤷🏾♂️ with that being said book is the best 2 guard in the league EZ!!
@@jalynjones9136 honestly idk about that, Book only got one more regular season win than Mitch and that was with KD on his team, not to mention the fact that Book played way more games than Mitch. I mean how can you be the #1 option as a SG if you're not even the #1 option on your team
@@AltairKapasiyeah but look at his numbers and true shooting.Yes he had kd and Beal but also that team was horribly constructed and that matters more. I think imo it’s Booker, Mitchell, and in that order
Let's really study his game. not saying mitchell doesn't go left. not saying he can't but if you watch his game he hardly goes left at all. 90% of him attacking is towards the right side, sometimes he would dribble all the way to the left side of the court and it gives him entire right side space to attack/work with. devin booker brown and mitchell should be in content for best shooting guard. no one really top each other. booker game is more complete, mitchell doesn't goes left if you factor in defense. brown is better than both of them. no clear best sg.
Jaylen Brown hasn't really played the 2 since the beginning of 2023-24 with the Holiday acquisition, I don't think he's really in the conversation here when he's mostly playing the 3.

No he hasn't. Not at all. He USED to be a better defender, but since coming to Cleveland Mitchell has been better on D than Book. You're TWO years behind on your info, son. Best start paying attention.
I have Booker and Ant over Mitchell. Booker plays better team ball and doesn't mind doing what it takes to win. Ant can play two way ball at an elite level. Mitchell is an amazing isolation scorer but is bad at defense and a ball hog, basically the modern day Iverson. Fact that he is having conflict with Garland is a red flag since on their team Jarrett Allen, Mobley and Okoro are more of off the ball scorers already.
Mitchell is more of a winner than Book. The ONLY book ever actually has on Mitchell is defense, but that stopped being true since Mitchell came to Cleveland. Ant clear both on D, but Mitchell is more polished and skilled offensively being in his prime.
You need to start paying attention, son. Mitchell has been really good on D since coming to Cleveland. Like, way WAY better than he was in Utah. How can you be TWO years behind and speak so confidently?...
@dearmas9068 because he's still not good on defense... I'm watching... I like him. He is just not a threat of any merit defensively. Jalen Brown and Anthony Edwards are better defensively while be equal offensively...

@Xodakotaz He played PG last year and is closer to being a SF this year with Jones and Beal starting. That’s all I’m sayin
The way that Mitchell drives to basket, and alternatively operates in the midrange when def collapse to the rim, reminds me a lot of D-Wade.

To be fair it ain’t like Minnesota or Phoenix is considering a big market either lol
this season jdub is great too
Video soon🤝🤝
Wow good video
Spida was doing the Celtics in during the playoffs when he was healthy
1 OF THE MOST SLEPT ON FOR SURE💯EVER SINCE I WATCHED HIM VS JAMAL MURRAY BACK IN THE BUBBLE I SAID I WOULDNT COUNT OUT EITHER 1 OF THEM AGAIN😮💨🕷️🕷️
Bro you still talking in caps?
That series was craaaazy both of them droppin 50. Spida is the truth it's about time people start noticing.
Yeah Donovan Mitchell is underrated
💯
Doeno! The truth!
Bro hell nawl I didn't know he was a beast like this !!!!!
Now you know cavs in game 6
Didn’t you say book last month
I have no dog in the fight when creating content.

I think he’s better tbh
both mid defenders but mitch is a better offensive but its close to me
