Hello Panos.
I have a question for you :)
In our company, before the electrical design for the switchboard is made, engineers are preparing list the products in a separate quote program.Then they export the product list to a file (.xlsx) which may contain eg.
{Part Number} {Description} {Quantity} {Store Location}.
I would like to import this list into EPLAN 2022 [Device list] to run the project more efficiently, ie a ready list of devices with the correct part number.

So I have a symbol list that I exported in .esl format from an old project. I imported it in a new project but how do I activate it so that I can use the symbols within it? When I check the old project, I can see that the symbol library is active under Options > Settings > Projects > "Project name" > Management > Symbol libraries but that is not the case in the new project?

When you say old project, which version of eplan are you referring to? EPLAN5?

@@mazarakidis No, not that old. I found what I was doing wrong. Once you import the library then you still have to add it under the settings i described in my last post. I now have access again to all my symbols. It sucks that in the newer version that all standard symbols have been removed.
