My First Impressions of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

I was invited down to Capcom offices recently to have a hands on with their new game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess! I have never played a game quite like this before and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my time with it!

I remember seeing the reveal trailer and thinking “Meh” even though I love Japanese culture and fantasy, then I heard about the demo and thought “Why not try it” and I was pleasantly surprised, I’m actually thinking of buying day one, the art style is amazing and I love the Okami influence (shout out Okami, everyone should try it if they haven’t)

Great video, I think this is a game not many people would look at cuz of the genre but it’s very unique and I found it addictive

This game feels like such a throwback to PS2-era gaming, where you'd consistently get these weird little one-off experiments with oddly overproportional budgets. Really, really glad people seem to be vibing with it, it's great! I like how the levels have this diorama vibe to them as well.
